MTV Awards Tainted -- Eminem/Bruno Was Staged

The head writer of the MTV Movie Awards has finally cleared up something everyone already knew anyway -- the cheeky exchange between Bruno's bare backside and Eminem's face was completely staged.

The L.A. Times spotted the following note on Scott Aukerman's website:

"Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged. That's all anyone wants to talk about, so let's get it out of the way. They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then."

We can all now move on with our lives.

23. If Eminem was in on the joke (as it appears he was) then that actually makes him seem a lot cooler in my opinion. I was a bit unimpressed with how he freaked out, but it it was all part of an act then that means he agreed to have the ass in his face and that makes him alright in my book.

26. I don't believe it! This is Em and his people doing damage control. I'm sure they've threatened MTV with lawsuit and that Em will never appear on mtv again if they don't put that out there. No way he would've agreed to that. There was no rehearsal and it did not go as planned.
