46. i watched the dress rehearsal. they rehearsed it several times. however, during all the rehearsals, bruno was wearing tight little shorts, like he wore at arrivals. but during the actual show bruno had switched to a jock strap. theres yer comedy.

53. I don't BELIEVE it! Maybe "something was planned" but not balls in your face! MTV knows people are angry & threatening to stop tuning into their crappy channel. Singing, lyrics, ranting and raving are completely different than sticking an ass in someone's face. He was mad! God forbid MTV take into consideration that this guy was on a lil hiatus related to drug/alcohol use. An incident like that can send someone off the wagon. I will NEVER watch MTV AGAIN!!!

55. I know TMZ is supposed to be all reliable and what not, but the only one that was in on this " staged" performance was this Bruno guy and his accomplises. There is no way TMZ is going to convince me that Eminim was in on this. Eminim is a rapper and in the rap world they are aginst gays (men that is). There is no way Eminim is going to jepordize his rep by allowing some dude to put his junk in his face like a chick. I think Eminim is P'd off right now and ready to lash out with some beef on a new track and or ready to sue somebody. You can not convince me that a rapper would approve of this. He would never live it down. He is getting all kinds of flack right now about it. The only thing he can do now is put a cap in this dude to live this down.

56. Here ya go-it took a lot of digging but this is utterly believable from Digg and reflects what the most sane and insightful comments here reflect:

(Paraphrased)

"Eminem had no clue. I'm besties with Cohen's makeup gal and she said Sasha's people made Sasha wear a wrestling cup (type of jockstrap) because of concerns that little pill popper might actually do some damage to Sasha's private parts. Sasha sprayed his pooper with Liz Taylor's "Black Pearls" so Eminem could taste and smell a little class with his ass."

Sasha wasn't beat down because (a) it happened quickly and was shocking to Eminem's entourage and Eminem (b) publicly wailing and beating the crap out of somebody while being recorded with tons of real life witnesses is not a smart thing to do (c) while someone is in the air on wires they are a movable target and fists might just set the person in sway more than actually damaging him or her. If you look, they did get aggressive but no one held him down by the wires while others beat him down-they could have, but there's that pesky witness thing again.

Eminem did NOT know the bare ass would be part of it-others have said that did not happen in rehearsal. MTV has gone to extraordinary lengths to censor anyone who might actually know and have the video removed from other websites.

This is not something that will go away, it will be a huge embarrassment for Eminem the rest of his life and in all likelihood given the rabid intensity of some of his fans, Sasha Baron Cohen has put himself into a position where his own life expectancy is now considerably shorter. Which would be the ultimate outcome of anyone trying this prank on someone with such a dedicated and in some cases psychotic fan base.

57. Smart mother+%$#$ m & m any publicity is good publicity, I cant believe that anyone that saw the show, really
thought that eminem would really just sit and wait for is body guards to get this flying whatever out of his face. , if that had not been rehearsed he would have been throwing this dudes wings up his $%#@
and I do believe the body guards would have moved a little faster too. People People People,has the housing market affected your brains.
