50 Cent was his own best witness in court yesterday -- taking the stand in a case over a 52-room Connecticut mansion he bought from Mike Tyson.

Fitty -- who's worth a reported $150 mil -- is all pissed off because he claims he hired an inspection company to go through the place before he bought it -- and they told him it would only cost around $500,000 to fix up.

But the rapper claims he was misled -- and after he bought it, the real fix-up cost was around $3 mil.

The inspection company is stickin' by their story. The trial is still going on today...

16. Umm, 50 made 400 million dollars when coke bought vitamin water for 4 billion dollars, which 50 owned 10% of. To say he's worth only 150 million shows your reporting has no credibility.

17. Was this the Tyson house that was left vacant for years and years and years? If it was, then he's a dumbass. I've seen pics and that place would obviously need massive amounts of money to renovate and update. It was stuck in 1980's hood rich style.

You're right about the Cola deal, but Forbes isn't accurate. They aren't personal accountants. They can only give a "public" approximation (assumption).

22. very flimsy lawsuit. Inspection companies can't forecast the cost of renovating a small house, let alone a 52 room house. You need to open walls to truly know whats going on.
It seems americas wealth is wasted with these rich entertainers.
