Wes Bentley's Marriage -- No American Beauty

Wes BentleySometimes there's so much beauty in the world, we feel like we can't take it -- and "American Beauty" star Wes Bentley couldn't take his wife anymore, so he felt like divorcing her.

According to divorce papers filed last month, Bentley is citing irreconcilable differences with wife of seven years, Jennifer Quanz. He also wants the court to deny Quanz any right to spousal support.

Bentley and his wife have been separated for nearly two years.

Sorry honey, when you divorce your wife you need to pay spousal support UNLESS she signs papers stating she doesn't want it.

I just watched "American Beauty" again the other night... he has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. They're magnetic, I'd blush if he ever looked at me.

Wes and Jen are good people!! Back in 2002 I was in SF with some friends and had a random night hanging out with them and some of their friends. Wes was a cool dude who liked Underground Hip hop, so he got props in my book! Shame about the divorce!

Why should a man (or woman) pay spousal support if you get divorced? This really gives women a bad rap when they try and get spousal support, especially when the marriage is so short lived. I say too bad for you if you are too sorry to take care of yourself!

I don't know what world that earlier poster lives in. He does NOT have to pay spousal support if she can make a living equal to his. It is not a given.
