David Carradine Dies in Bangkok

Legendary actor David Carradine was found dead in a hotel room in Bangkok, Thailand this morning.

According to Carradine's agent, the 72-year-old "Kung Fu" and "Kill Bill" star was in Thailand for a movie.

David's agent told WABC that he believes the actor died of natural causes.

TMZ last encountered Carradine back in March, when the guy -- who was always in a playful mood when we ran into him -- jokingly told our camera guy, "I could take you f"**kin' out man!"

R.I.P. Grasshopper.

51. Sad news. But, suicide? All reports are of high spirits the day before his deathl, as well as previous. And, if you are going to suicide, why take off your clothes? What would that mean? No note? Also, why hang? And in a closet? Why not make it simpler, it is a suicide, why complicate it? And what did he hang from, and what did he launch off of? These are questions that do not make sense to me.

53. As soon as I heard the news that David had been found hanging in his closet of a Bangkok hotel I thought it was a masturbatory sex act gone bad. I immediately recalled the news story that a Boy Scout Troop Leader had been found hanging by the neck, nude in the morning after a troop sleep-out in the woods. The police determined he had been doing the solo masturbatory scene, using "poppers" (amyl nitrate) and choking himself in order to make the orgasm more intense and prolonged. Evidently David never grew up, never took himself or life seriously enough to avoid illegal drugs and live his life as the wise man he pretended to be in "Kung Fu". It's a pity because he was a good actor, gave us many hours of entertainment and should have continued to do so.
