Carradine's Rep -- David's Hands Were Tied

6/5/2009 12:50 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

David CarradineNow we know why David Carradine's family thinks foul play may have been involved in the actors death -- his manager tells us Carradine was found with his hands tied behind his back.

Chuck Binder, Carradine's manager, tells us he firmly believes Carradine did not take his own life -- nor does he think David died accidentally. Binder says the family has been told Carradine's hands were immobilized by the rope.

Carradine was found by a hotel maid Thursday morning with a rope tied around his neck and another around his genitals in a Bangkok hotel room.

UPDATE: Thai police are now recognizing David's death may not have been a suicide, by saying, "It is unclear whether he committed suicide or not or [whether] he died of suffocation or heart failure." Police say he could have died from an "accidental suffocation."

UPDATE: We've been told by the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok that David's body was shipped back to the States Friday evening (Thailand is 14 hours ahead of PST).

Foul play may have been involved in the actors death because "Carradine was found with his hands tied behind his back" ??

Dennis Rader (BTK) testified that he managed to tie his own hands behind his back on numerous occasions (and a few times he had trouble getting it undone). There were even pictures posted during the trial, that he took of himself in this situation. It's not a stretch to think that someone who was into bondage/getting tied up would find a way to tie their own hands behind their back to heighten the effect.

Sounds to me like either kinky sex gone wrong OR that Carradine was a fan out auto-erotic asphyxiation (the same thing that took Michael Hutchens' life). It's pretty common for people who are a fan of that stuff to tie their genitals as well as their neck,

However, that does not explain the hands being tied up, which seems to me like a person committing suicide and making sure they couldn't interfere with the process.

hahahaha!

Gee that little tidbit of info certainly changes things. Why wasn't this mentioned right along with his genitals being tied up? Might have kept things from turning so ugly sexually. ... of course I'm still thinking some kinky sex gone wrong... except that now, IF, this hands tied behind his back thing is true there was obviously another person involved.

Wow!? How is it that so many Americans on here know of such dark stuff? After reading all of the "knowledge" on here, I guess it isn't surprising that we're witnessing through the news so many vicious rapes and murders of innocent children and women. Hey, folks, "normal" sexually loving and heart-centered folks don't explore or have a curiosity about the potential dark side of their sexuality. A lot of experimentation, eh? Save your soul and go see a psychotherapist....

My guess is that this was a tragic auto-eroticism "experiment" gone wrong. I've read his hands were tied to both the rope around his neck and the one around his genitals, but NOT (as was previously reported) behind his back. This would have allowed him to masturbate while tightening the rope around his neck at the same time. If that (or some other sexual experiment--even if it was a bondage thing with another person present--that went wrong) is what happened, it's incredibly sad that a meaningful career will end up getting lost in that sensationalism now and in the future. Sad for his family as well. RIP, grasshopper.

This is actually a fairly common practice, especially while travelling. However I suspect it was a heart attack, rather than asphyxiation. Men who indulge in this extremely pleasurable act are generally quite expert at preventing an accidental hanging. Unless he really was quite intoxicated. It is also common in Bangkok to hire a woman to tie you up and come back later, though there seems to be no evidence of that revealed so far.

Accidental death by cheap clumsy Thai bondage hooker - anyone -anyone- else says different is lying for their own gain, examine each ones motives closely and you will see.
