Cops: Evidence Suggests Carradine Was Alone

While David Carradine's family is screaming foul play was involved in his death -- the police are busy painting a completely different picture.

Cops in Thailand told the AP there is no evidence to suggest anyone else was in the room at the time of David's death -- and cops also have said it's possible he died from an "accidental suffocation."

Meanwhile David's manager, Chuck Binder, said he was told the actor's hands were tied behind his back -- although cops have yet to release such information.

David was found hanged in his Bangkok hotel room on Thursday, with rope around his neck and genitals.

33. For those of you having trouble with this: What happened was an accident, a case of auto-erotic asphyxiation gone wrong. He didn't commit suicide. The rope was tied in a fashion where he could move his hands up and down behind his back and it stimulates the genitals which in turn ...wel you get it. Obviously, he didn't tie the rope correctly this time - what he was doing is quite advanced in the world of auto-erotic asphyxiation, so he's probably been doing this sort of thing for years....

34. Yep, I too have been there. It's a city five times the size of Los Angeles. Very beautiful. But also impossible for any large city not to have an ugly side. If I had to travel anywhere that got me this upset as it does sixtieth, I'd try to figure out a way to avoid it, have someone else do it. Life is too short to get so upset by a mere statement at a website.

41. As to a murder theory, please try this on for size:

The luxury suites at the Swisshotel he was staying at have 2 entrances - this per the hotel's website - the second being for staff. It is possible the staff entrance is not surveiled. It is also highly possible that the staff entrance is served by a service elevator so that elaborate food and drink service can be delivered in carts without disturbing the main guest elevators and blocking the guest hallway. This is a typical arrangement in luxury hotels. Furthermore, the staff entrance is probably unlocked by a staff master key the electronic code of which is not reset for every new guest. No need to and if the code were reset, then the staff would be burdened with getting a new key every time the guest key were changed.

Hence undetected access to Carradine's room via the staff entrance is possible. This would imply an inside job as a staff master key would likely have to be used.

But why? Gang extortion against the hotel is a remote possibility that cannot be ruled out. Hence Carradine's fame made him a target. And the staff master key could have been obtained well in advance of his arrival. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

A theory. Only.
