227. I read in a magazine he was the lifeguard...which makes perfect sense when you have that many little kids, all the same age! If you had kids, you'd understand! Anyway, it makes more sense that he's the lifeguard. Just don't believe everything you hear.

228. #226, you're ridiculous and you obviously know nothing of cultural skin pigments. My father is Irish/American Indian, and my mother is Portuguese...they are both naturally darker but considered "white"...Growing up, I was very dark from playing outside. I tanned so easily, even though my mom put sunblock on me everyday. It's just easier for some cultures and skin types to tan than let's say...you and your bright white ass. Find something worth picking at.

229. You all need to chill out. This family is very dysfunctional and there are many serious issues...much of which come from the show...but don't pretend you or your families never had problems. Also, I know Kate's a jerk, but don't make jon out like a saint. i see a lot of women here acting like they can "save" him...pulling that classic nursemaid role. The guy is just as selfish as Kate, he just keeps it to himself. He wants sleaze, he clearly wasn't even itnerested in being married...he stikes me as the type who just got married because he was lost in life....so even if you could "get with him"...he wouldn't like you any better than his now ex-wife.

230. What would you all do if your business and family was put out there. We all know how bad rumors are just imagine if the camera's were there. Would you really all want your stuff out in the public eye. Yes they both put their lives on T.V however the general public decided to make it worse. Are you lives so boring that you have to make rude comments about someone's lives. Get a life and I pray nothing ever happens to your family. What goes around comes around.

231. Umm, yeah I would have him there too... While John is off running about with his girl buddies, Kate has been taking the kids out. I'm sorry but even when I take my 3 kids to the beach I bring another person, the beach can be a dangerous place for kids! I would have him there too if it was just me and my 8 kids.
