Heidi & Spencer -- Tortured?

Heidi Pratt was tortured by NBC to the point she was "convulsively throwing up" -- that's what some people on the set of "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" are telling TMZ.

Heidi and Spencer

We've learned Heidi was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with a gastric ulcer, after being held with hubby Spencer Pratt in a dark room for a day and a night with only water, rice and beans. It was designed as punishment because they left the show. One cast member described their treatment this way: "It's the same as Guantanamo Bay."

And get this ... a cast member tells us NBC execs tried to convince Heidi to stay on the set rather than take an ambulance to a hospital for treatment. She has now left the hospital and is on meds.

We're told some of the cast members want to quit, but their passports have been taken away and they are under guard.

Paul Telegdy,
NBC's Exec VP of Alternative Programming, told Ryan Seacrest about holding Heidi and Spencer in isolation as punishment, adding, "... They are now going to be examined, and their value system utterly deconstructed ... These people really are going to bare their souls."

We're told Spencer has fired his lawyer (who wanted him to stay on the show) and is now planning to sue NBC over the show.

Spencer and Heidi now want out ... for good ... but there's a problem -- they signed a contract with NBC to do the show.

NBC reps did not return our calls ... so far.

Stay tuned ...

61. Tortured by confining them to a dark room with only water and rice and beans?

Hah!

If they want to toruture Speidi, they should deny them use of any hair products for a whole day. This would bring on a total emotional meltdown..

62. I'm not a doctor but I don't think you get a gastric ulcer in one day. I think someone is a big baby. If I were in a dark room with the man I loved, I don't think it would be so horrible. There are many people that would love to have a punishment of ice water and rice and beans. Why did they agree to go back?

64. Rice and beans? That ain't torture...

Wanna torture them? Deny them hair products for a day!

Or better yet, allow them back on the show, but have the producers ingnore them and refuse them any camera time.

Anyone else got any creative torture ideas???

65. I don't even know who these to maroons are, and I don't really care. But to have their value system utterly deconstructed? Dear lord, where has this NBC exec been hiding all these years? This is great stuff...the reading alone is giving me a woody!

68. The ONLY reason they wanted to get back on the show was to bring this fake law suit for some quick settlement cash.

69. It takes a lot longer to develop and ulcer. Not just a few days and an overnight in a dark room. They are a joke.

70. I met Heidi & Spencer. Heidi is better looking in person and really nice. She did look really delicate.
Spencer looked like a pain in the ass. They both were madly in love and fighting all the time.
Heidi is more down to earth in person. I liked them both. Never seen them act on TV. I heard its like
watching Bill Shatner on a bad day. :-)
NBC bites!

72. Other torture suggestions:

Make Heidi shave her hair, and Spencer shave his beard. Then make Spencer dress up in drag, and French kiss Stephen Baldwin.

Now that I'd watch!!

75. If their passports are being held, that is in violation of US law. A passport belongs to the federal government and cannot be held legally by a private citizen. It cannot be given up contractually either. If NBC has their passports, they had better return them. If the cast leaves and breeches the contract, NBC can sue them but cannot legally hold them against their will. That's at least false imprisonment if not outright kidnapping.

The law protect even twits like the Pratts.
