67. Annette: I don't appreciate the Latina remarks either. And you're right about the vapid celebrities, especially Paris. There are celebrities who have causes they sincerely believe in and donate time and money to, Jessica Alba defaced a United Way billboard with a picture of a shark with no accompanying message or caption, took a photo of herself, andposted it on the internet. That's what's making people roll their eyes.

69. Annette: I don't appreciate the Latina remarks either. And you're certainly right about the vapid Paris. Some celebrities have sincere beliefs in causes and donate time and money as well as publicly explain why they support thess causes. Jessica Alba defaced a United Way billboard with a picture of a shark with no accompanying message or caption, took a photo of herself, and posted it on the internet. I think that's what's making people question her sincerity.

74. Annette: I've been having trouble getting my posts through, but I'll try one more time. She just comes across as a typical insincere celebrity - like the ones who insist we respect the environment (which I do) before hopping on their private jet.

I think we can all agree that this has nothing to do with her being hispanic or female.
