51. I think it's really disgusting how most of you are so hateful and racist. Bush basically set up his successor to fail, and that's where Obama is starting from. Things do not take overnight to fix and we should all just stop being so negative. The challenges President Obama walked into, by all accounts, have been historic. And the spending has been off the charts. But I have noticed that the recession that was supposed to last for years will be over by the end of the year...and the Banks that were taken over and given tax payer money...have now found solid footing to start paying back the TARP loans.

With extraordinary problems, comes extraordinary solutions.The reason why I pointed out the the job approval numbers is because it's obvious that the majority of people are aware of the current circumstances and are giving this administration a chance. They are not like people like you who seem to think President Obama can fix everything in 6 months. Your "socialism" mantra is the actual joke. The continued and selective bailout's are certainly this administration's first point of judgment in history and has given the GOP a common mantra. Now the first TARP bailout was from George Bush, yet it's Pres Obama trying to bring socialism. And look at all of the subsequent bail out votes....every GOP member voted against right? The bailouts are unprecendented and a huge risk...but it seems as though it has helped buy these mega-companies some time to establish some type of foothold and begin recovery. At which time the government will liquidate it's assets within each company and bow out. That's the plan anyways. But with your spin..."the government is buying companies, to hold them indefinitely, to control the people and market." But It works with your supporters because that's all I read and see on the web from people helping to campaign (either directly or indirectly) for congessional 2010 and 2012. It's good that enough people see through it.

And you keep talking about job numbers and all this spending....Let's say McCain and Palin had won...same circumstances.....They do the opposite....completely stopped any more TARP money for banks, no bail out for Chrysler and GM...which needed it to continue back in December 2008....All of a sudden, all of these companies suddenly file for Chapter 11 at the end of December. Hey, that's capitalism right? Only the strong survive. What do you think those unemployment numbers would be then...all of those autoworkers, peripheral businesses like car dealers, car parts makers, mechanics, car washes, car stores and car related items etc all left to deal with the mess.....and what if McCain/Palin ended all funds to the banks....no payrolls, no loans for anyone, a freeze on financial assets and transactions. Do you think we would be better off now, 6 months in with Obama, where the TARP banks are now starting to repay the loans, where Chrysler and GM have been able to negotiate takeovers and controlled Chapter 11s while literally giving these peripheral businesses at least 3-5 months to deal with impending consequences, rather than an immediate jolt.

I guess I'll judge President Obama's policies, failures and successes, in 2012 come re-election time...versus your 6 month judgment. What I find funny is even though the GOP numbers are shrinking due to a lack of enthusiasm and diversity, I guess the web posters didn't get the GOP memo, of needing to grow the party. What better way to do that Skater Hater than to name call and cuss when posting a reply.

And finally Skater Hater....most everyone are aware who the radicals are in both parties are. I'm not here to list and give their Myspaces and Twitters.
