Carrie Prejean: They Asked Me to do Playboy

Carrie PrejeanWe just got off the phone with deposed Miss California USA Carrie Prejean -- and she says the pageant was trying to whore her out to Playboy.

Prejean claims pageant honcho Keith Lewis actually asked her last month if she would take two gigs -- appearing on "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" and Playboy. Prejean says Lewis told her Playboy offered $140,000 for her to pose semi-nude. She rejected both offers.

A few minutes ago we talked to Lewis who said he was not pushing her to take either gig -- but merely passing the offers along. Lewis said Prejean had insisted they not turn anything down without running it by her.

Prejean -- who told us she was "shocked" at the news she was fired and learned about it only after we broke the story -- tells us she has been more than cooperative with pageant officials.

Prejean says, "What's behind this I think is a political debate. They don't agree with the stance that I took [on Prop 8]. Shanna [Moakler] is trying to bash me. They don't like me. From day one they wanted me out and they got what they wanted."

Prejean also told us she couldn't believe Donald Trump would say she treated people in the pageant "like s**t." For the record, Trump did tell Harvey Levin that on the phone earlier today. Prejean said if Trump really feels that way she's sorry, adding: "I've shown respect for every party involved, even when they haven't shown it back."

Prejean went on: "I was very respectful of people even when they slandered me and humiliated me. I have not once stooped down to their level."

I throw myself at the feet of Jesus Christ and pronounce myself a sinner not worthy of the kingdom of God. Many so called Christians do not even know what that concept entails. They strut around with that holier than thou glint in their eyes and hate in their hearts for their brothers. I am not a Christian because I am not worthy of His name. 363. She is a gorgeous girl and she should do a very arty, provocative spread that leaves alot to the imagination, the publicity would be huge, and other offers would come pouring in.

364. This is moronic, it's an agent's JOB to pass along offers.
Most pagent winners probably get a Playboy offer, she just wanted everyone to know.

She has to make some sort of statements or the offer will come with less money as she sinks back into anonymity.

she's telling the truth... they didn't even call her to tell her she was fired. I don't know what Donald's referring to, since he obviously wasn't even there. I think they should have stuck by their decision to keep her as Miss California and thereby Miss USA runner up. I understand her personal speaking engagements were rigorous and it is difficult to meet the obligations of both. but she is NOT Miss USA, she is runner up, so why are they having her do so many extra appearances etc? just seemed pointless that they announced they're keeping her around, then 2 minutes later they're like, OK forget it we're not.

367. and why would she want to do Playboy, when she already made it clear she was OK with swimwear pictures, and the cardigan over her boobs is OK, but against posing nude, those were nip slip pictures the photographer took liberties with. the people that distributed the hand bra pictures of her made it like those were not private, in the privacy of her own home. and they were only 1/4 boob anyway... she was young & dumb, and most of us have made bigger mistakes than taking those 2 pics I can tell you that.

I also can see why she rejected "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here". what does that have to do with being a reigning title holder of Miss California?? nothing. she should be expected to read books to kindergartners and that's it.
