39. Michael himself has said that he saw these moves being done by dance groups down his street and he thought they were amazing. But they weren't famous. He's never claimed them to be his own. Us, the fans, make it known that ALL his moves, all the ones he's famous for, belong to him! The fact is, he was the FIRSTMichael is so big, He's a mega-super star! He is a class all on his own. So it may be called the "backslide" but it obviously wasn't the shhh-it until The King of Pop did it. You mention "backslide" and people will wonder wtf you're talking about. You say "mooonwalk" and right away they know! We have entertainers now-a-days that invent moves like "superman" or "the walk it out" and when you really think about it, those moves may have already been done long ago and who do we give credit to? The artist that made it famous. Michael has never taken credit for anything. Not even the title "King of Pop". He never called himself that, we did. Other famous people did. Elizabeth Taylor was the first. So those articles that like to put down "self-proclaimed King of Pop" is just plain bull shhh-it. Do research, you are after all reporters, right?..
