On Billboard 6/9/09: "Season 8 Favorite Performances," his 12-song set, sold 10,000 copies this week to chart at No. 52 on the Billboard 200 and has sold a total of 25,000 copies since its release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Allen's album, for those keeping track, is at No. 125 this week and has sold a total of 14,000 copies.

Just a quick check on the iTune store yesterday and this morning.
Adam's album was at 33 and dropped to 38 as of this morning. Kris's album was dropped off from the top 100 since yesterday.

Adam's Mad world is now at 89 while Kris's heartless and No Boundaries are in 74 and 97. Adam's Kiss is now on #9 video with several other in the top 100. Kris & Keith Urban is #15.

While Kris is leading in singles, Adam is WAY AHEAD in album and video sales on US iTunes. Kris fans may have voted with their phones, but Adam's fans are voting with their wallets!

33. Kris singles have top Adam on the charts, but Adam album and videos have topped Kris and are still doing it.

Selling albums is more important than singles as when you buy an album you buy the singer and not only a couple of tunes you like from a singer. Selling videos also indicate that the singer will be selling concerts as he is perceived as a performer as well as a singer and that were the most cash comes in for an artist.

And get your facts straight. Adam is topping Billboard and iTunes album sales.
Kris is only doing well in selling singles.
Adam is doing better than Kris in Canada, Finland and places outside U.S.

Why do you think 19 Entertainment/Idol/Rolling Stone, you name it, give Adam so much publicity, which he deserves by the way.
