Liberals don't want to hear the facts like MLK was a Republican, or that it was the Republicans that fought against and defeated slavery from the slave owning Democrats. 42. Hey Glambert and you other whiners- I'm a government employee so your tax dollars also pay for my burgers, nights out, hockey tickets, rent, toilet paper, etc. So the F what?!
The man does earn a salary, he can whatever he damn well pleases with it. Besides, what theatre isn't going to comp his tickets and what restaurant is going to charge the President for his dinner? The fact that he does pay WITH HIS MONEY and tip generously is wonderful, good for him and the waitstaff. And what, do you think if he wants to take his wife to a Broadway play he's going to board the DC-NY bus like the rest of us? Get real. Part of being President means the highest security so of course he's going to use the plane and motorcade that is meant for his use, it's a perk of being President. They've all used it. Get over it.
