Asians are the people - Oriental refers to the objects from within it (vases, sculptures, rugs, etc).

27. What is going on at the LA Superior Court?

The judges seem to be preponderantly abusive, emotionally unstable people who don't follow the law and who act prejudicially (not just in terms of gender or ethnicity, but also in terms of ruling by personal whim and emotion rather than the LAW.)

More than ever, the courts are crucial for maintaining order and civility in this increasingly chaotic and pressured country. People are suffering and increasingly helpless.

If an officer of the court can't conduct themself with civility and professionalism, then who will? Would you people prefer that people settle beefs in the streets? Also, judges need to exercise more humanity. In this economic climate, judicial decisions can be the difference between life and death, even in small claims court.

Be responsible and humane. Or, please step off the bench if you're tired of your job and find yourself taking it out on people.

29. If the judge is removed it shouldn't be for racism, but stupidity. All that education and he still doesn't know that the only thing you call Oriental is a rug? I wouldn't be comfortable with his ability to judge on that alone but, racism ... please. No one says anything when they are picking on caucasians, just every other race. Get over it already. I'm Chinese and I was teased all through childhood. Think it bothers me? please. Give it back and move on. Miley wishes she were Asian because then she wouldn't have to worry about looking so old by the time she's 25.
