17. DANNY HAS A GREAT VOICE. I PERSONALLY THINK HE WAS THE BEST OUT OF ALL OF THEM AND SHOULD OF WON. HE HAS A BETTER VOICE THAN KRIS ALLEN AND ADAM LAMBERT WHO DOES NOTHING BUT SCREAMS HIS SONGS. ADAMS SUX.

Best soulful voice, rock doesn't get to judge soul, the fans do and already have which by the way are not attracted to the hate. People read too much into every little word if it's someone who is the opposite of what you would consider the "idol".

25. Inside sources say that two or maybe three labels have already taken a pass on Gokey. So far there's no interest in him from anyone in the recording industry. Maybe he'll find a way to make a living with his music, but it won't be as a recording artist.

26. Small per diem?.... SERIOUSLY? On Larry King, the Idols talked about the money that they made off of their iTune downloads alone and said that it was a VERY NICE percentage!
These kids are making TONS more off Idol than the first several year contestants.

27. My jaw dropped when I saw this on the TMZ TV show. I didn't think that even Dead Wife Danny could be that much of a douchebag. Notice how quick he was to start saying "Don't show this" - and I DON'T think it's because, as an earlier poster indicated, he was going to get slapped on the wrist for it. He knew it didn't go with his squeaky-clean image and he was mentally thinking "Oh s**t, just blew that one."

29. The douchebags that leave comments on here are pathetic. Danny is a great singer and did not "pimp" his dead wife. Danny has no control over the editing process to get the final product you saw on television and answered the questions on Idol that were asked of him. The only Idol pimping anything now is Lambert about being gay even though we all damn well knew.
Money is important to a guy who isn't rich. The man drove trucks and taught choir, I bet it's a nice step up to have some extra money in your pocket. Deal with it.
Danny Gokey is a great singer with an amazingly soulful voice, espescially for a white guy. He's the best singer on Idol by far and the fact that people go through all the trouble to comment on this video when they knew good and well they didn't like him is about as laughable as Allen winning.
