Lange who tries to be the common guys best bud,shows he actually is a back stabber. What he did to Buck who showed enough trust in the guy to hire him and make him a first show guest,makes Lange out to be instead the real creep in eveybodys life we all avoid.

110. TMC should stop fearing Stern who they are loathe to say boo about-hence Lange gets the best of Buck the title says when he instead came across as a loser with nothing more to lose. What did HBO expect? You hired Artie Lange from the Howard Stern show. Along these same lines what did the NFL expect by hiring Mtv to do the half time show with Jamet Jackson?

They want cutting edge and when they get it they are not prepared and end up looking stupid and inexperinced.

112. I felt like I was watching a train wreck in slo motion. Artie clearly has a self esteem problem. Why did he feel the need to return Joe Buck's pea-shooter sized jabs with thermonuclear devices? Clearly Artie came off like he was picking on Joe Buck. Another comment that was somewhat arrogant was Artie's bragging to his SNL colleague about making 80 grand a week doing shows compared to the SNL 11 dollar/hr rate. Funny is one thing, mean spirted is another. Artie needs to understand that he if crosses the line THIS FAR repeatedly, his stock with the American public will drop to a point where he will be unmarketable. I am an Artie Fan but this particular show made me feel uncomfortable at times - not very entertained. On balance, i would say he came off looking like a mean-spirited angry asshole and not the witty edgy blue collar guy who is everyone's best buddy.

113. Sterns household numbers are so low that he goes on Letterman and behaves,sends Lange out to do the dirty work of "the old Howard" to try to sound edgy. Instead they came across as old has -beens. Mean spirited has been Sterns only way to rise,exploit people with illness,make a fotrune while they live in poverty to this day.
It took time while Sterns ponzi scheme carreer to come home,but site after site,people really hate him and his stooges.

117. Lange ripped this guy a new one, and thank god he did! What a boring pathetic excuse for a show. All this Joe Buck guy could do is sit there and watch his career go down the toilet, and all Artie did was point it out! Great job Artie, keep up the good work and the INCREDIBLE comedy.
