Jamie Foxx -- I Get Sued, You Pay

Just because Jamie Foxx is the host of a party, doesn't mean he's responsible if things go haywire -- at least that's what he's saying in a new lawsuit.

Foxx -- along with everyone involved in an event at club Social back in 2007 -- was sued in April after a bartender claims he suffered 170 stitches and nerve damage after falling on a bunch of broken glass.

Jamie just filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court, saying he shouldn't have to pay to defend himself because it wasn't his responsibility to ensure everyone's safety at the shindig.

Foxx is suing Social, along with a number of other companies, to fork over the scratch for his legal fees.

22. Foxx is a very talented actor, but he's ego and social behavior are left wanting. Why does he feel the need to host parties like a two-bit DJ wannabe? Stick to the acting bro, you're better at that than being a normal person anyway

23. He's right. He's technically an employee of the club for that night and not a manager of any sort. It's like sueing the DJ.

24. I dont think jamle should pay for any. If any thing he should sue that man for trying to get over on him. Just cause someone has moeny does not mean you can go sue them all willy nilly for every little thing. I mean come on this man is hosting a whole great big party how is he pose to know that there is broken glass on the floor.
