33. So Kate spanked her kid. How many kids haven't been spanked? I was, and guess what, I didn't turn out to be a psycho or have emotional problems. My parents loved me, and I'm sure John and Kate love their kids, too. Unfortunately in the mix of so many kids and a crumbling marriage you add the spotlight of fame and camera crews around you 24/7, and it's a disaster. They need to stop the show and get back to what is important.

34. Good for her! Kids need spankings and why should she hold back just because someone is watching? The kids need to learn to behave and know that they won't get away with it at any time.

38. Every child needs discipline -- whether or not is should be spanking is another issue. Most enlightened parents try to avoid it if possible and, if they must use it, keep it as a last resort, and then it's a smack on the bottom and that's it -- belts, paddles, and other weapons constitute abuse period. The natural consequence would have been for Kate to take the whistle away and the child would have to earn it back with good behavior. Chances are that the poor kid was tjust rying to get Mom's attention - and it worked.

39. Here we go again....yet another instance of them BREAKING THE LAW! Children under 12 are LEGALLY REQUIRED to wear helmets in PA, whether the bike has training wheels or not. This is the 10th time in less than a month the kids have been shown not wearing helmets, even though they have them. Even going slow, a child could endure serious damage from head hitting pavement. When will these people grow brains???

45. This woman is a disgrace to all mothers! She is a horrible wife, mother, and person! She is obviously mentally ill to have a hair-do like that! Does she own a mirror? It makes me sick to think that this piece of trailer trash thinks its okay to strike her child after what she puts them through. Her kids should be taken away from her and put into therapy.
I hope she reads these posts and realizes what she is. and as for Bravo TV, I say we boycott them!!
