On a socially responsible note, everyone involved has got a f**king lot of nerve p*ssing away sooooooooooooooo much money when L.A. city workers are getting the boot and other jobs and services threatened. I don't care who paid for this sh*t. It isn't picking up anyone's morale (except for those mentioned in the original post) despite what some self-serving local politicians (Bernard Parks) say. They claim there will be loads of revenue from this idiocy. Yeah, let's see where it goes.

This is strange, the crowd is made up of 90% latinos, and I have not seen one white person. its changed so much, only the lations go to christmas parade in hollywood or the july firewworks at the beach. this parade and victory celeb is really not a good idea, the movie stars who go to the games could care less, its just a media frenzy to stroke the celeb players egos, let kobie pay for it, he is an arogant ass, he and his wife not paying their help. and all the little losers come to the colliseum to cheer these guys, this is just a stupid basketball game, get perspective, here, $2,million dollars............... truly a waste

29. I WAS AT THE LAKER PARADE EARLIER TODAY AND IT WAS VERY PEACEFUL. I WAS NOT AT THE COLISEUM. I WAS ON FIGUEROA STREET AT 11 AM. PAU GASOL AND THE OTHER LAKERS WAVED AT ME AND I TOOK PHOTOS OF THEM. THE LAKERS ARE THE GREATEST TEAM IN THE WORLD. L.A. DID NOT PAY FOR THE PARADE. PRIVATE DONORS PAID FOR THE PARADE. L.A. DESERVES TO HAVE A PARADE AND IM GLAD THAT WE HAD ONE. LUKE WALTON I LOVE YOU. L.A. AND THE LAKERS ARE THE BEST- ANY THAT TALKS BADLY ABOUT THEM ARE JEALOUS. THE LATINOS AT THE PARADE WERE NICE AND WELL MANNERED.
