Kobie gave himself the nickname of BLACK MAMBA. You do not give yourself a nickname. You receive a nickname. So worst than putting on a t shirt saying you are a league MVP, Is giving yourself your own nickname. Did Ted Williams give himself " Splendid Splinter" ?
