PETA Swats at Obama for Killing That Fly!

PETA is finally going after President Barack Obama for delivering capital punishment to a housefly on the White House grounds yesterday -- a death that was caught on tape.

When asked for comment, here's the statement PETA released:

"He isn't the Buddha, he's a human being and human beings have a long way to go before they think before they act."

We're told the fly's carcass has been moved to a secret location ... we're guessing the bottom of a White House trash can.

23. People have different approaches when a fly is around. One can live and let live, one can gently encourage it to go somewhere else, or one can kill. Obama's actions are revealing at a symbolic level. First he tries to order the fly around, as if he he had some kind of power over insects just from his voice and then his kills it with relish. I find that Obama's attitude to the fly does not show a particularly evolved character. Even if there is a health reason that one must kill another being, there is no reason to feel good about it.

24. Patti Pepper needs to suck it. President Bush has done much worse than kill flys, how about create total and utter chaos the whole eight years he stole presidency. Hmmm, the value of one dead fly or the value of scores of innocent humans dead as a result of a rediculous war.

26. Think we need a candle light vigil for "Sucker" the fly. All he wanted to do was tour the white house and visit the President.

Born locally in D.C., Sucker went to a modest inner city school before getting a government grant from the stimulus for his higher education program at a local community college. After splurging the money on spilt coke and bread crumbs, Sucker dropped out of college and was in debt to the government but his debt was going to be waived with the new sweeping financial regulatory reforms. He flew to the White House to express his appreciation to the President.

But when he met the President, disaster happened. Sucker was struck down and killed by the President for interrupting his Q&A with the press.

Rest in Peace Sucker, we'll never forget you.

27. PETA has to be loosing their damn mind if they think they can win this fight. I hope and pray to God that this is a jokey joke and if it isn't a prank, I seriously hope no one from the administration answers PETA's call or letters.
