69. Being from Europe - the UK to be factual, and watching TMZ every night, I find it hilarious that you keep referring to Ronaldo as the greasy (?) why don't you just add the wop at the end?

Have done with it. OK - I do understand that you could have a problem with a sport that, well, isn't inherently American and so have to feel you need to attack this player (after all - he did do Paris, the fool) but he is a kid really. He hit the headlines becoming a player at Manchester United - was sought by Real Madrid and is now on his way for 80 million quid.

I can honestly say that I haven't seen an American sport that has the same world view as does football, I suppose that Ronaldo taking all this from TMZ and their ilk should be a compliment.

Maybe it is just a matter that American men are still in awe of their European cousins hence all the bile.

71. I'm not a fan of Ronaldo, but knowing a lot about football, let me clarify some points. There are no Roids in pro football. Every once in a while somebody gets caught with a foreign substance and get suspended for a minimum of six months up to a few years, depending on what the substance is and what the circumstances are. His legs have veins due to his training. If you think I' wrong, then I guess Lance Armstrong is also on Roids, right? Think before you write. Second, a lot of pro footballers wax their bodies. It all depends of where they play and what they do on the pitch. As an amateur footballer, let me tell you what body hair is good for: when helping someone to stand grabbing their right hand with your right hand, use the left one to grab a bunch of body hair and give it a twist, it usually ends with at least a yellow card, or, more often than not, an expulsion. Body hair is a great way to get in trouble when playing a weaker opponent, that will try to cheat their way into victory. And in a sport so demanding, any advantage counts. Of course it doesn't serve any purpose to shave the legs, as it is very difficult to grab those hairs, but people look ridiculous with everything waxed but the legs, so they usually do it too. Attackers do it more often than defenders, because they suffer more fouls. As for his feet, every players feet are a mess. They are subject to such abuse... The shorts are standard shorts, a lot less revealing than what michael phelps uses, so I guess people mentioning it are just biased. It's the greatest sport in the world, and amazingly 380 million people in the world call it the wrong name. That right, Americans call football to a game played with hands...and an egg. Why don't you call it handegg? Football: it's played with the feet, and a ball.
Oh wait...Get over it.. learn it, live it, know it, yeah...you're really bright...

This is for all the morons that made judgemental comments on Ronaldo's flip-flops..........Ummmm, what is a person suppose to wear at a pool or beach. Sneakers? You all sound like a bunch of ignorant and obnoxious individuala. I'd like to see what your wear at the pool. I would bet might life that none of you haters look as impressive as Ronaldo does. His body is AMAZING! Hmmm, I guess that's what exercising does to the body. Why not get off your ass and try it sometime. The results would amaze you. My husband and brother both have amazing bodies due to the fact that they are in the military and play soccer,,,,,not from steroids ignoramuses.
