Jessica Alba Pays for Screwing with United Way

They're calling it a donation ... we're calling it payback -- either way, Jessica Alba just forked over a whole lotta cash to the United Way in the hopes of making everybody forget the night she vandalized the charity's billboard with shark posters.

Moments ago, a rep for the United Way of Central Oklahoma announced Alba made a donation of more than $500 -- but refused to identify the exact amount per Alba's wishes.

As you may recall, Alba went on a late night tear last week, defacing all sorts of objects with posters promoting great white shark awareness .... in Oklahoma ... where there is no ocean.

21. It says MORE THAN $500! So she didn't give five hundred she gave more than that, they just won't specify the number.

Now it could be 550 dollars, or it could be 5,000. But I'm not sure why that many of you missed the words more than.

24. It may have said "more than $500", but that doesn't mean it was much more than that. She may have requested the amount be kept a secret, but she's a celebrity- she's vain enough that if she donated over $1000, she would want that out there. Then it would be "more than $1000".

30. One can only wonder whether a 'regular Joe' would have been charged with a hate crime for defacing that billboard. It is krazy to think a Hollywood celeb can deface public and private property in Oklahoma and make it go away with a few bucks in the bucket.
