18. All people, Conservatives and Liberals can set family values. Joy Behar is not an example of that. She shacked up for over a quarter of a century, thinks provocative advertising is OK for little kids to see, she dismisses ANYONE who doesn't think everything is ok to see and everything is ok to say. Sorry, this is not the world I want for my family. Age appropriate material from birth to grave never enters Joy Behar's brain. She's not as smart or respected as she THINKS she is.

19. who cares, and anyone who has anything to do with Heidi and Spencer is as bad as they are, ugh!!!!!!!!!!! Enough of these reality people. What happened to good t.v.???????????

20. Hey joybeharnofamilyvalues....Who cares if people "shack up"? What is it to you? Are these people less responsible to their children or loved ones because of this? If you don't like the programming on The View then don't let your impressionable kids watch it...simple. This stands for everything else in life. You are their parent or guardian, not the newspapers, magazines, TV or movies. If your children are being negatively affected by these, then YOU are not doing YOUR job properly. Look to yourself to guide your children and don’t be so concerned about what other people say or do. IT UP TO YOU!!!! Not all people have the same moral compass and I don’t need yours to guide my kids and you don’t need mine.

22. 9. Joy Behar is spinning in a zone of her own decay, physically and morally. She needs to stop screaming (her normal voice....ewwww) She needs to realize "HER VIEW" is just that "her view", not the masses outside of New York and California! If she's as smart as she thinks she is, she should be aware of this.

And she gets ANOTHER TV SHOW? Turn that off! Her annoying voice, equivalent to fingernails on a chaulkboard!
Viewers spare yourself THAT experience.

Uh yeah, I Iive outside of NY and CA and I appreciate Joy Behar's "view". So speak for yourself annoying, Republican loser.

23. So now that she is not on The Hills is fake. When she was on Kimmel a year ago she defended the shows realism with her life.

24. Everything was staged!! hello people "reality tv" is hardly real! they do have producers...

25. people who don't watch the show may think that lauren is a dumb twit with no morals just from watching the antics of spencer and heidi, but that couldn't be further from the truth. lauren is actually one of the most normal, classy, and intelligent females on any reality tv show that's ever been on. reality tv tends to annoy me because it celebrates raunchiness and attention-whoring, but because lauren was the center of "the hills", all of that drama was curbed compared to on most other reality shows. she hated drama, rarely caused or tolerated it, didn't air her dirty laundry for everyone to see (in fact, she had no dirty laundry to air), and she remained a true blue loyal friend to those close to her. regardless of what we think, tv and the media affects young people and their actions considerably, and it always comforted me to know that young girls were looking up to such a classy lady such as lauren. she knew she was a de facto role model to all of them, and she behaved accordingly. how many other celebs can say that? now that all her leeches (i.e. fellow castmates) have taken over the reigns of the show, the quality of the show has gone down with each member vying for attention by misbehaving and being dramatic (guys included). i won't be watching anymore, and this admission on lauren's part just makes me want to watch even less. as for her, i'm sure she'll be a success no matter what she does. people with good intentions and tons of integrity usually do. good luck, lauren!

26. I thought that apology seemed a little weird. Just by the way they both hung up. Now that shes not under contract, she's basically telling everyone the show is pretty much staged. That sucks!

27. This girl has nothing interesting to say with her "book characters". That book is a snooze! I strongly suggest she goes to school and learn the basics about story telling since she doesn't have a natural talent for it... Guess being "infamous" by playing script-reality doesn't grant you a license as writer or clothes designer for that matter....

28. All of those so called reality shows are staged. The Hills, any of the Housewives. They are not real, maybe not every line is written but when they are told to argue they do. They do whatever the directors tell them.

29. WHAMO, You are an idiot. You seriously believe that television, movies and other forms of media have NO IMPACT on children and adults? Why do advertisers spend BILLIONS of dollars and use countless hours trying reel people into their shows? They are not stupid. They know how to play people and mold them. It is not an instant thing. They know it takes many years to mold a persons thinking and views. The very fact that you think shacking up is 'okay' and has no consequences shows how truly brainwashed you are. I pity you.
