I don't think he is a hero, he is the President and he promised that he would do something to help the millions of homeless animals during his campaign, I just want to see him do something to help, even if it is small at least it will be one small step in the right direction.I am aware that it has been a problem for so many years, I think it is time that someone tried to make a difference, it just bugs me when people tell me one thing and don't come through. Think I will take my jumbled brain and go for a flea dip now.

27. There is a lot that the President could do to address the huge problem of pet overpopulation and animal cruelty in this country, if he chose to. Modeling a good choice by saving the life of a shelter dog, as he'd said he would do, would have been a great start. I'm with you, kelc -- how could anybody possibly find fault with wanting to be a voice for the millions of unwanted dogs and cats who cannot speak for themselves???
