Gov. Arnold in Smoky Emergency Landing

Action just seems to find the Governator -- Arnold Schwarzenegger's plane made an emergency landing this evening because of smoke in the cockpit.

The guv's plane was about ten minutes from touching down in Santa Monica, CA when the pilot reported the smoke, according to KTTV in Los Angeles.

The pilot made a quick, steep, and safe landing at Van Nuys airport, just north of Santa Monica.

Everyone onboard is okay. Arnold even twittered about the landing, saying it was, "a little adventure."

Yes. Ahnald twitters.

In Los Angeles County, there are "legal" citizens age 60 years and over sleeping on the cold sidewalks, disabled people (some confined in a wheelchair without adequate food and hygiene needs met) who are suffering both homelessness and not being able to afford medicine for pain and/or quality of health needs, and, adults including their children sleeping in their vehicles because they cannot afford California's high rent or have lost their home due to the current housing crisis -- yet, this ego-driven mindless moron cuts the benefits to USA citizens in order to extend welfare and free community college benefits for illegal immigrant's kids and works behind our backs in support to advance his desire to offer illegal Mexican immigrants a path to USA citizenship. Of course, we have figured out that some of his behavior is strongly reeks of Kennedy-clan influence and power. Both Arnold and Maria need to move their butts else where because Californians are getting fed up of his sense of irresponsibility!

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has warned lawmakers they need to act boldly and make some tough budget choices, sent Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg a metal sculpture of bull testicles.

It was intended as a gag gift but Steinberg, a Democrat, was not amused and returned the football-sized gift with a terse note about the seriousness of the ongoing negotiations.

The account was given by sources within the Capitol who were familiar with the situation. They said they were not authorized to speak on the record because it was considered a private matter between the Austrian-born Republican governor and the Senate leader.

According to the sources, Schwarzenegger's gift was in response to an earlier gag gift he had received from Steinberg: a package of mushrooms after the governor called Democrats' budget proposals, which included tax increases, "hallucinatory."
