Kiefer Sutherland played the role of gravity's bitch this weekend at a bar outside L.A.

Kiefer went on the celebratory bender in Covina, Cal. Saturday, after blowing $20,000 on two Kawasaki street bikes at Bert's Mega Mall.

After the big buy, we're told Kiefer and pals -- including a few bike shop employees -- headed over to Clancy's bar a few blocks away. Our sources say Kiefer slammed shots and beer until 2 in the morning -- falling to the ground at one point.

No worries -- Kiefer had a driver.

36. Kiefer is the best. Right now he is filming 24 which takes a ton of time so if he wants to have a blast, it's a free country. Since when is drinking a crime. He didn't drive besides by reading the comments it appears many people saw him and the reports are conflicting so who knows the truth anyways. I love Kiefer and want to meet him. He may like to party but he takes care of his responsibilities and I believe is a genuinely nice guy.

37. I was there that night, and I just want to say that Kiefer is one of the most poliet and gracious people that I have ever met. He was very respectful to me the, and was taking pictures with fans at their request. He thanked everybody that wanted a picture with him, and told them that he would have not had a lucrative career without his fans. He was appretiative of every complement. It looks to me like the rat is one of the scumbag Bert's employees that were there. They kept on trying to put drinks on Kiefer's tab, but luckily the bartender declined to do so unless Kiefer told her himself. Whoever posted this "story" get a life you loser! Kiefer was awesome and one of the greatest people I ever met, and for you to take advantage of his trust and generosity is bull! I love you Keifer!

39. It seems to me that the employees of Clancy's would be the only ones that know the whole truth about Sutherland's visit to the bar on Saturday night. Everyone and their mothers are bashing Mr. Sutherland without them actually being there to see what was going on. Come on, most people go to bars to relax and have a good time. If you go to a bar, have a good time, have a few drinks, have a designated driver, no one gets hurt, what's the problem? I guess some Bert's Mega Mall employee is jealous that his co-worker got the commission and wanted to make his share by selling the photo and making up a story to TMZ.

41. I've seen him pound em back then get carried to the bathroom by friends... it's hard to change those habits easily. Once a hard partier -- always a hard partier unless you go through a life changing experience like a death or something...he appears to be a friendly guy with fans, though...always an upside

Unbelievable!!I was at Clancys that night!!A few of the Berts guys were clearly trying to explote him!!They were trying to get him drunk and were trying to egg him on a bit to get him to do stuff! He was nothing but nice to everyone!! He was a nice guy!!He wasn't even there till 2 He left no later than 11 that night. He wasnt falling down and had a designated driver. So what if he had a few drinks, he wasnt causing any trouble(just the opposite) and had a dd!! Just let the man be and dont make up lies to make him look bad!!!

44. keifer came into my work "North Woods Inn" in covina off of Azusa Ave and San Bernardino that day...he stayed for 3 1/2 hours drinking beers, taking pictures, and showing off his new helmet...i later found out on this site that he went to berts megamall and bought a couple bikes and ended up gettin drunk at a dive bar named clancy;s on the same street as all three locations i mentioned...Azusa Ave is where its at in covina i guess haha
