17. TLC put the show on hiatus today! TLC must have received some serious
complaints from sponsors. You know Kate didn't mention a thing about
hiatus. TLC went too far last night. Thank God for the children's
sake. Two of the most greedy selfish parents I have ever witnessed.

19. First of all , Jon and Kate knew they COULDN'T AFFORD CHILDREN , that's why , they signed up with TLC to do this reality show . THEY'RE USING THESE CHILDREN TO BENEFIT THERE BANK ACCTS , which is horrible on jon and kate's part.
TLC , JON AND KATE are all at FAULT . jon has no BACKBONE to get a REAL JOB . They both gotten to comfortable with TLC FLIPPING THE BILL , they didn't want a job . Why should they if they've some company paying for everything.
Kate and jon has mental issues , for using there own children . They arent raising these children , TLC IS . Why didnt TLC just adopt children and made there own show , it would of been cheaper . KATE DESERVES to be alone , she's self centered , nagging , low down person . TLC SHOULD PULL THE PLUG ON THIS SHOW . VIEWERS ARE TIRED OF THIS SHOW . ALL REALITY SHOWS ALL ABOUT MONEY , NOTHING ELSE , USES CHILDREN ........

20. There are three reasons why the show will not go into permanent hiatus; #1. TLC #2. Kate Gosselin #3. Jon Gosselin.

This past episode, yet another example of a reality show turned infomercial, this time for an obscenely expensive "playhouse" ($7,000.00 plus each), showed us why this poor excuse for television needs to end. The ONLY way this is going to end is if we all stop watching. I, for one, will do my part.

25. I really can't figure out why anyone gives a crap about these people or these types of shows. What kind of people actually watch this nonsense? It does nothing for me; there's nothing real about it. It's pathetic that these so-called reality shows are even being made. It exploits and ruins people. And people find this entertainment? I don't get it.

26. J & K live in BERKS county in Pennsylvania as the addresses for both in the court filing show - Sinking Spring, Pa is in BERKS county, not MONTGOMERY county. My question - how is it that they get to file in MONTGOMERY county? I always thought the law in Pa. was that you had to file where you lived.......?????

27. IF CHILDREN watch this show last night , they will ask there parents if they can have a play house like that .

NOT MANY PARENTS can nor will they buy a playhouse , because its not a NEED , but want. those playhouses
should NEVER BEEN ON . $7,000 overcharged , SO WHO BROUGHT THIS FAMILY THEM ? TLC ????

28. You readers have got to be kidding me. This is not good, it's terrible. And the sheer appreciation and entertainment the general public gets from stories like this is completely disheartening. At the end of the day, regardless of your assumptions on whom these people really are, they are still a family, and those kids still have feelings. As for John and Kate- you can all say as much crap about Kate as you want- but she's running a house of 8 kids, and she was doing it prior to TLC picking them up and providing extra help. And NO ONE, even you people saying these horrible things, would turn away extra help if you had 8 kids to take care of! In that situation, everyone would probably make the choice to accept TLC's help, and the money too! John and Kate both recieved college educations, so it's understandable that they want nothing less than that ability for their kids in the future. I highly doubt that they had any idea that things would go so-south so quickly. I strongly doubt that they knew signing up for the show, or even another season, would ultimately result in the demise of their marriage. They were doing just fine until the media went into a frenzy over them, blasting them on covers of every mag, every week. They were capable of living a private life until OTHER's tried to cash in on them, so think twice before you start blaming these 2 parents for their choices, and thnk about the hand you have played in this matter.
Beyond that, no one- other than John and Kate, knows exactly what has happened between them two. Congratulations, American culture, you've managed to judge these people and slander them on various websites based upon what you read and the very little, produced, information you see on TLC. No one has any idea what it feels like to have photographers stalking you and standing outside your house- NO ONE, other than celebs themselves.
Have some humanity people, this family is going through an extremely traumatic time.
