32. I live in Montgomery County in PA. How could they file in Montgomery County if they live in Berks County? Reading is in Berks County. Why is it many news stations and tabloid sites are saying it was filed in the wrong county? Yesterday a lot of media outlets claimed it was in Doylestown in Bucks County. Doylestown is in Bucks county but no where near Reading which is the area that Kate and Jon live in. Someone needs to get this straightened out. Everyone is so quick to jump on the John and Kate divorce bandwagon but none of you want to get certain specifics straight.

33. I for one really enjoyed their shows. I've been watching for quite some time now and in my opinion, Kate is a little bossy but they both love their children and wanted only the best from the experience. I think they loved each other as well. On one episode they even re-married.

I think the tabloids and media helped with the demise of this marriage. I also beleive that when people started to badger Jon about the way Kate treated him, he started taking notice and was embarrassed by the "wuss" persona. Think about it, after all, he's rich now and can get any skank he so desires. She's nice looking as well but I don't think she'll start to date anytime soon.

The kids are adorable and it's really too bad. It amazes me to read that so many people find comfort in the fact that they are splitting up. In my opinion, there is never anything funny or amuzing when two people decide to split who could otherwise stay together. There was no physical abuse, no drunken behavior no severe name calling .... etc....,

Also, each and every one of us who watched the show knows good and well that the kids "ARE NOT" being exploited. Now that's a bunch of bull. They have also benefited greatly by way of their parents because of the show. In my opinion, they get the best of everything. And, if you really want to call a spade a spade, the media brought the entire family into the lime light by advertising that she had given birth to 6 babies, thus they were t.v appearances, a show, a guest spot on Oprah and the likes. So Jon and Kate can't possibly be fully responsible for what has happened. I only wish they'd been strong enough not to allow haters to ruin their relationship.

Her brother and his wife should be ashamed for airing their opinions on national t.v. His wife was on a couple of shows where she gladly took the kids and pretended to adore them. Now all of a sudden, they are dis-pleased w/them. Again, bull. I think they were not getting a fair cut regarding their air time and hit the roof.

Octo mom does'nt have one up on the Gosselins. She decided to have a harem of kids w/o a husband. At least the Gosselins were married, both w/good jobs Kate, a nurse and Jon an IT technician. Octo mom had nothing and was skimming off of her parents first and now off of the sweat of taxpayers.

Lastly, I am just sad to see that it has come to this. However, I am happy because apparently they have made bank and will never be poor and if the show continues inspite of the divorce they will continue to make money, re-runs, books you name it .... just as the married twice, maybe they will find their way back to each other. In any event, I for one wish them nothing but happiness ..... the entire family !!!!!!!

34. From the way Jon acted last night, it seems that he was probably embarassed and mortified after watching himself and how kate treated him on television for the whole world to see. It was obvious at the end of last season that he didn't want to do the show anymore and she completely disregarded him and how he felt. Yea its all about the kids first...but your marriage should come in at a very close second and you should make sacrifices to make the marriage work. It seemed that kate wanted to continue filming even if it upset jon.

35. Who really gives a rats a**. If people spent more time thinking about the state our economy is in then maybe our country wouldn't be in the shape it is. They are getting a divorce..No one cares. Kids are raised in households all over the world where there is one parent and they are fine. Jon seemes like an idiot on the clips from the show that I saw and kate well I won't even say what I think about her. Your marriage failed move on and get over it. It doesn't make you special.

37. most kids don't get expensive playhouses when their parebnts divorce. most kids going through this would have to 'give up' stuff cuz finances change, like camp or dance or a sport . . . .oh no not these kids, now everyone will feel sorry for these 8 moppets and send them all sorts of free stuff and trips and exclusive visits to zoo's amusement parks and ski trips! Kate will benefit now too, oh soo many people will feel sorry for this wretched excuse for a mom and send her consolation gifts of surgery jewelry applicances fancy trips and clothing as well, all new plots for new episodes of HER show. And jon oh poor poor emasculated jon, get's to live the big life not working, living in trump tower and farting around on atv's and choppers, poor poor jon will get his choice of fame hungry floozies to stick his wang at, TLC should pay for that mans vasectomy! people THIS is not the reality of divorce! I watched the show in the beginning with my 8 year old daughter when it was sweet but i bacame apparent to me that it was all about product placement and freebies. I stopped watching and disueded my daughter as well, but she was picking up on it too, one of those older twins has Kates genes and already has HUGE anger issues, my daughter said she was a spoiled brat! I did not watch last night but heard and read all the hype -Kate inbetween her 'it's all for the kids' crap, 'the show MUST go on' uuuhhh I think not sweetheart, it doesn't have to go on, it would be better for the kids for it not to go on, but she's become a money hungry monster at the expense of her children!

Last episode was an infomercial for the makers of Crooked Houses - how fitting that might be the last episode ever. Both Jon and Kate have Crooked Minds. They both need therapy. Paging Dr. Phil.

39. People harp on the personality flaws of Kate and I largely agree. But Jon strikes me as a dim-wit. His vocabulary is stuck somewhere in ninth grade and at the announcement of their junking their marriage, he said the next chapter of his life would be "exciting." What kind of husband/father of eight says that?

42. It's all about Kate, not Jon or the children! She is selfish, rude and a control freak. Has anyone else noticed that when kate refers to the kids, she says, "MY kids". Jon usually says. "OUR kids". Why are they living in a 1.2 million dollar home? They should be living in a home they can afford without the tv show. They should be putting $$$ away for the education of those children rather than spending it on a mortgage, play houses, trips to timbucktoo, tummy tucks & hair plugs.
NEITHER one of them is doing anything positive for those children. And now they're adding a divorce to the mix.
God help those poor kids!
