Justin Timberlake arrived at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris this weekend, escorted by a machine gun-carrying bodyguard.
Those screaming teen girl fans can be really menacing.

I was in Paris on holiday recently and there are armed guards like this all over the airport. I was pretty shocked at first because I didn't know it was common and I thought there was something wrong maybe. I'll stop now because no one is interested in what an anonymous person has to say.

33. While some stars are able to shred their humble, embarrassing beginnings (like Marky Mark) other just can't do it. Everytime I see this douchebag I think of his frosted, ghetto tips, screechy, whiney voice and how an equally douchey tool like Ashton Kutcher made him cry like a bitch on Punked. 39. If you don't know the real reason the guard was there then don't report on it. For one thing armed guards are common in European airports. But this airport had just had a bomb scare. Get real TMZ.

42. FYI: I was born in France (1969) and did 3 years (1989-1992) active duty in the french military (Desert Storm vet) and this is an Army soldier, they are posted at Airports, train stations... to prevent terrorism, this is the way it's been for decades.
Europe has been dealing with terrorism forever, no like in the US, where the government had to wait for a 9/11 event to wake up and realize this country had no security.
