CoverGirl to Rihanna: Ok, We Like You Again

CoverGirl -- the company that ran faster than mascara in a thunderstorm -- has un-blacklisted Rihanna.

Rihanna -- play video

A day after Chris Brown pled guilty and it became clear Rihanna would not have to take the stand, CoverGirl resumed its ad campaign with a new spot featuring the singer -- a spot that was shot more than 3 months ago.

Coincidence? We thinks not.

47. 38. I will not be buying ANYTHING that Rihanna endorses. This woman should be ashamed of herself - going back to a man who almost killed her - she sets a poor example for all women.

48. WHY RIHANNA IS SO KIND TO CHRIS?

We all know you should never hit a women – unless she is 6’ 2” and running at you will a 12-inch knife. But, I have been wondering why Chris Brown really didn’t get a harsh penalty. Also, I was thinking about why RiRi still wants to be near him. The idea that she suffers from batter wife syndrome has been the prevailing theory. Something else has come across my digital desk.

I have a source that lives very close to Chris Brown’s town in Virginia – about 10 minutes. They told me that it might be his mother’s house, but Chris definitely lives there a lot. Well, my source has some inroads to the local police there in the town. The police apparently are well about the domestic matters that have transpired between Chris and RiRi. The police locally REPORTEDLY say that Chris Brown has been forced to replace no less than three flatscreen TV’s because Rihanna allegedly threw something through them all. Basically, they suggested strongly, without going all the way in, that Rihanna might have exacerbated other situations that lead up to this one. Maybe Rihannais feeling guilty some how? Who knows.

They also say that it wasn’t any sort of big deal to see them shopping at the local Wal Mart or anything like that. The locals were not really feeling RiRi, because she acted too exotic for them (exotic = stuck up, they say)

:-) don't worry ladies, I will pick up your slack and buy 5 times more than I used to, I never bought cover girl...but I will now :-) maybe it's just me...but I try to never further victimize a victim of a violent act, where the perpetrator has plead GUILTY to the charges. I see no reason to boycott Rihanna. and if you do, I suggest you re-evaluate your logic and reasoning. you both sound like silly, scorned chris IKE brown fans. (feel free to interchange "IKE" with "OJ") :-)

I wish Miss Rihanna NOTHING but the best in everything she desires, she deserves that and more. I respect her SO MUCH more now that I know she doesn't take sh!t from little boys...a man can't cheat on her and then beat on her when she confronts him about it...not even if it's "breezy" bitch!!! that to me says STRONG woman.

Guess what, twit. Not everyone thinks alike. That's what makes the world go round. "I suggest you reevaluate your thinking and logic" You sound like the silly one, demanding people have YOUR opinion. Maybe these ladies don't like the fact Rihanna went back with him and set a bad example for young women. Gotta laugh at idiots like you, with your "If your opinion is not mine, your wrong" attitude. You are a complete dolt.

mom of 2 daughters? REALLY? LOL...wow...you sound a little old to feel the need to insult someone just to express your opinion don't you think? pretty sad that you have managed to pop out two kids but haven't learned how to express yourself without being insulting, that's funny and sad all at the same time. and you also have difficulty comprehending what you read dear, I never said they need to have my opinion. just wondered why they think punishing a victim of domestic violence is warranted. Rihanna never went back to him, when did she go back to him? are they back together and I didn't hear? do tell...did you see them on a date or something? in fact wasn't she in court to testify against him when he took the p*ssy way out and plead guilty, prohibiting her from doing so?

58. 54. To "mom to 2 daughters":
You are exactly right! "Princess RiRi to YOU" sounds like a total fool. Why would you buy 5 times more cheap make up than you need to support some no talent wanna be diva that already has more money than she deserves?
RiRi and Brown are both ghetto punks who, no matter how much money or success they have, will still act like ghetto punks. None of these people should be role models to anyone...unless your momma is a crack whore. In that case they would do as role models.
RiRi is a joke!

***********************************************************************

why do I sound like a fool because I like to support a woman whom I like and I think has talent? I also don't like the fact that she's being punished for having been a victim. YOU don't have to support her...but you are on drugs if you think you can tell me who to support or not.

60. Princess Ri Ri to you (doubt it, sugartits) needs 5 times more makeup to cover that ugly face. That still may not be enough!
