Gosselin Divorce Docs -- We Got 'Em!

It was only a matter of time -- 2 days to be exact -- but we got a hold of the once-sealed divorce documents in the Jon & Kate Gosselin case. Here's what's interesting. The docs say they just can't agree on who gets what.

According to the documents, "plaintiff and defendant have been unable to agree as to the equitable distribution" of their marital property. It goes on: "Plaintiff [Kate] is and has always been willing to negotiate a fair and reasonable settlement."

But we checked this out with some Pennsylvania lawyers, who say this is boilerplate language -- everyone who files says this. The real test is when Jon gets served and the lawyers try pounding out a property settlement.

16. She kept complaining on the show, trying to make everything Jon's fault.. He wants the divorce, it's his issue, he's being unreasonable, he wants out.. Yet, she filed for the divorce, lawyered up and is on yet another publicity smear campaign for St. Kate.. I think she just talks to hear herself talk..

17. dammit...those two media-whores filed their papers in the county courthouse in MY hometown, meaning that there will be a freaking circus of news vans and J+K stalker fans all over downtown when they have the proceedings! i avoid the show like the plague as is, now i cant even change the channel to get away from these breeder idiots! why didnt they file in their own county??

22. Greedy, materialistic bastards. Since they've been PIMPING their children SOOOOO long, its too difficult to decide who gets the bulk of the PAST , PRESENT, and FUTURE earnings of the children. 23. Jon is most disgusting and bad example of a family man. I really believe he is so immature and selfish as a human being that nothing else matters except for his own selfish goals. He really "likes" not "love" his kids in my opinion, or else he would never put him and the whole family in this predicament. I know his own parents divorced so maybe he learned from them, and possibly would be in his trait to not focus on the family. Bottom line, he wants to have fun, fun, fun, but that will last only a few months, or maybe short years. I could see him in the future drunk and stoned out of his mind and thinking all the bad that he as done but it will be too late. You reap what you sow.

26. Why does TMZ care this much about how their divorce is gonna go? Do you really find entertainment in a now broken family, as well as the pain and suffering the kids have to go through now. Its one thing to make fun of her mullet hair cut like shes from dundalk, maryland. Its fun to make fun of him not caring or sleeping around. But to go as far as to break a judge's ruling in keepin the docs sealed is pretty sad. I would expect this from a Perez Hilton webpage. Think about the kids for once TMZ. Show some class if california has any of that left.

29. Who cares what their divorce papers say! Enough of this crap already. They had their fame now it's time to move on. I'm sure Kate will move on with that bodyguard that she was with at the beach!!!

If TL:C decides to keep the show going then they will have to find a way to payoff Jon. A Pennsylvania judge will order them to split all property and assets 50/50 since Kate has shown she can earn. It won't be one of those, she can keep the estate because she has the kids most of the time. They will have to pay off Jon.

The big 'if' though is whether the series will continue. Anyone in management at TLC who watched Monday's show had to be disturbed at what unfolded. Hopping from shilling for another freebie to complaining about how the marriage was failing and scattering in the kids being used as pawns was disgusting. During hiatus time, expect many focus groups and a few board meetings to cover whether TLC and Discovery should continue to promote this child abuse.

If Jon does not play ball, it's all over on TLC. Kate will wind up on some other cable network hungry for ratings but the one thing she will learn about those networks; they barely pay scale.
