This show should had lasted only 2-3 seasons at most. The kids are 5-6 now. I dont want to see kids being pimped on tv unlesss they had talent to sing/ draw/ etc.....
Jon and Kate was milking the TLC money lol! I think this divorce thing is a ploy for ratings.....
Boycott the show. Let Jon get that college girl and like kate get the bodyguard. Everyone knows they will leave them soon enough. Anyways who would want to marry a man with 4 kids and a woman with 4 kids......? That is baggage to the fullest.
They might as well reconcile. This is the best thing to do and they both need to bring in some cash to raise these 8 kids.....
If this was a normal couple without the TV show deal they would have been in a 2-3 bedroom house and the kids would have to sleep in 1 room til the teen years like other struggling large families. All they can do now is pray

49. Ok..here is how I think their property should be split...if they did not purchase it, it goes back to whoever donated it to them. That would only leave a few items left...it would be much easier to split then. These people need to PAY for what they get. Stop giving them everything. Ok they have a lot of children,..well look around..other people have children! Get a job! Both of them.

50. The bottom line is that Jon still wants to party while he is going through mid-life/pre-puberty crises while his whole family is in turmoil. How stupid can this guy get? Every week he says or does something stupid to destroy his own family. We can see pictures after pictures of his own demise. It is totally unbelievable when he had so much going and just bring it all down by himself, for what? I agree, he is a perfect example of a total loser of a human being.

51. Everyone is only looking at the surface. I sense Jon is the one wants the money and the freedom from the kids. He only spends time with kids because he felt guilty that he is planning to leave. Jon is the one that went to the clubs. Look at many of Jon's decisions, he does not have the kids' best interest in mind. Jon only cared what he wanted and he was not happy that he has to sacrifice for the kids.

52. Leave the Gosselins alone already. Someone on these comments wrote why don't they get jobs and be a "real" family. Most "real" families don't have 8 kids to support. Now, how do you think you would plan your life in supporting 8 kids that you didn't mean to have but love to pieces? They are not exploiting their children, the money they get from the shows is theirs and they all have earned it!! Go pick on some locals in your own town that keep having babies and can't support them, of which you pay for because they live off the system. Come on people get over yourselves and leave the Gosselins alone. How did TMZ get these documents? It's obvious someone in the Clerk's office leaked them....Jon and Kate should sue the County for that. Not sure about PA, but in NY you must file for your divorce in the County of which the Plaintiff lives you can't just go pick a County and file a divorce or any lawsuit, unless a Change of Venue is requested and approved by a Judge. You all need to know all the facts about their marriage before you go giving opinions. I'm a fan of TMZ but not anymore...you people are not nice for putting these documents up on your site. Your camera crews stalk the Gosselins, its horrible. Stalking the stars (like Chris Brown, Rhainnan, Courtney Love) is one thing, but the Gosselins don't deserve this at all. I just want to hug everyone of those children and Kate!! She looks fabulous and you all just want to pick, pick, pick at her, your all just jealous because your not as beautiful as she is!

55. This is really a sad day for Jon and Kate. While I am a fan of the show, I don't get to see every episode, but I do watch it often. I believe opening your family life up for all the world to judge caused alot of stress really hurt your relationship with your spouse, but we as humans do what we need to do support our family and we make decisions and judgements we have to live with and sometimes it is more than bargined for. I for one am sorry to see the show go but Jon and Kate must do what is best for the children. My prayers are with both of you and I hope that after all this caos that has been created subsides and you both find each other again. My prayer is that you both remember what brought you together in the first place can be found again. Good Luck to your future.

They shouldnt split anything. EVERYTHING they got was given to them "FREE" I think the company should REPO there stuff sell it at an auction and donate the money to people that needs it.

58. Jon seems to be the only real parent and it is clearly documented in many many episodes of the TLC show. The only thing Kate has done is exploit thier children she has used them as tiny little pay checks and to make a career out of exploiting them
if not for the money Kate would be the one to bolt and leave Jon with the children

59. I know honey, even though our marraige is falling apart and I treat you like poop, lets bring TLC in to record it all so our children can watch the demise of our marriage. Then, when the kids get older and start acting out against me and my control issues (much like you did prior to the divorce), TLC can put them in another reality show about reality show child stars going through rehab! We can make money off these kids for the rest of our lives and I can call it "doing it for the kids" and make myself a martyr.

Kate - take a step back and look at the absurdity of your situation. You are not your kids and your kids aren't you. Make the hiatus of the show last forever please, for the health of whats left of your family.
