Jackson Danced and Sang Last Night

We've learned Michael Jackson showed no unusual signs of distress -- he was rehearsing his upcoming concert at the Staples Center in L.A. But, we're told, like other nights of rehearsal, Jackson was both hours late and lethargic.

We're told rehearsal went late into the evening. Jackson was singing and dancing with the backup dancers and the band. Someone who was there says Jackson was supposed to show at 7 PM but didn't arrive until 10 and he was "listless." But that was normal, according to people at rehearsal.

Right now, some of the cast and crew are at Staples, packing up their stuff.

31. I am so saddened by the loss of such a great musical talent. being a mere 2 months 3 days older than Michael he was a constant part of my life through his music.

As a true fan throughout his highs and lows, this was not the sort of news I wanted to hear on my birthday. Within 15 mins of hearing the first breaking news Bournemouth had a huge Electrical storm, and I can only imagine that this was Michael giving an impromptu performance for all the fans that had passed before him.

My Thoughts and prayers go out to all his family, R I P Michael and thank you for bringing many years of enjoyment to my life !!!

32. No one has or will surpass Michael Jackson. He was the most succesful artist for the last few decades and simply one of the very best of all times. He brought a new dimension to music and entertainment, I will remember him for that.

34. I am surprised at how sadden I am by the passing of Michael. Yet, it is like the end of an era. I was never one of those who had anything negative to say about him. Who of us who came up in the 80's were not influenced by him or his music in some way. I did not know him, but one of my best friends did work for him several years ago and her sister in Santa Barbara was a close friend to him. They knew him as a sweet, soft-spoken, childlike being. Very kind, with not an evil bone in his body. They never believed the negative cases about him and children. He was attracted to kids as an equal, as a childlike soul himself, not in any perverted way. He was a victim of people wanting to use his kindness against him for money. Who of us could be hounded by so much media, publicity and surrounded by vultures, would not be a little strange? Some celebs are strong enough to handle the vultures around them. Others, like Michael and Anna Nichole, fall victim to these people (managers, agents, lawyers, doctors, ticks and leaches) who try to suck the $ out of them. They tried to do it to Brittany Spears. Her family stepped in and saved her...so far. Other celebs like Madonna are too strong to let it happen to them. Michael was weak. He drowned. God rest his soul.

36. How dare you judge him! The media made his life a living hell! He was found innocent. Get over it. Now that he's dead, you want to do the same thing to him that you did when he was alive! Only god can judge. He was human. Yes, he had his problems just like everyone else in this world. MJ should be remembered for the good things he's done. Did he molest those boys? I know one thing, if it were my child who so called got molested, no amount of money in the world would have stop me from pressing charges against MJ. I would not have backed off until the bastard was in JAIL! Money can't buy happiness. (His life was living proof of that.) What does this say about the parents that accepted the money. The fact is that no one will ever know the real truth behind all of this.Thank god that there are more people in the world who love him. Michael Jackson will live on 4ever. Millions will still adore him and his music will live on despite what people say!!!! My heart goes out to the Jackson family and to all the fans who truly loved him. I love you Michael! You will never be forgotten.

42. I loved Michael Jackson, not only for his wonderful singing and music, not only for his fantastic and out of this world dancing but also because he was a sensitive, caring, comapssionate human being.
I have watched interviews with him and he has said that he was abused as a child by his father, who beat him. He said that he would get so afriad just by the simple fact of his father walking into the room that he would throw up. His father, (as michael himself said) made him feel ugly "you have a big nose or he must get it from the other side of the family"....his father made him the butt of jokes that HURT him deeply. it's no wonder he kept haviving plastic surgery. It was up to the "doctor" to say NO MORE. Also his brothers would have sex in the same room where little Michael was and they told him to "pretend your sleeping and no matter what DON'T OPEN YOUR EYES" this was said by Michael himself in the interview. For the love of God how can any one as senstive and comapssionate as he grow up to be totally whole. person with this horrendous upbringing. I AlsoI RESENT the media calling him "Waco Jacko" he has said that, that statement hurt him very much. It's disgusting. His name was Michael Jackson and he was an extremely fragil, innocent soul. I am 5 years older than he and so practically for my entire life I have watched, admired and respected him. He might have had a great deal of money and fame but it seems to have brought him and bought him a whole bunch of whore doctors who are horrible human beings and apparently with total disregard gave the man any kind of drug he wanted. They did the same to Elvis, Ana, Ledger and who knows maybe Monroe too. I hope that something is going to be done about these so called doctors. They are horrible human beings and the cause of much destruction. Also I can't imagine that Michael Jackson would want his most loved children brought up by that crazy father. I think this is the last thing he would want. Michael Jackson was not black nor white but a sensitive, kind human being who was hurt very much in his life by his own blood and by the media. RIP Michael today you are in paradise.

45. I don't understand any of this. He was an OK performer. Not even a great dancer. Moonwalk is an old dance move from the 1930's.
Don't know why Blacks like him. He wanted to be white. Has WHITE CHILDREN! cut off his nose how many times? Those kids are not his. Just look at them.
He was a drug addict, child molester and just plain crazy. How foolish you all look.
