Lambert's Old Label -- We Got It in Writing!

Adam Lambert claims the album he recorded pre-"Idol" was nothing more than him singing someone else's songs -- but that just isn't true.

We've obtained an internal memo from two divisions of Adam's old label, which clearly lists Lambert as the co-writer on nine of the 11 tracks on the album.

Lambert's new handlers released a statement on his behalf this week condemning the album, which said: "I was hired as a studio singer to lend my vocals to tracks written by someone else ... I was broke at the time and this was my chance to make a few bucks."

Ironically -- or not -- one of the tracks Lambert co-wrote is called "15 Minutes of Fame."

61.
Wise up, people. This whole 'scandal' is done with full consent of all the parties, as a PR ploy to keep Adam's name in the press.

TMZ is just helping them out.

62. Uh...you call a memo written on cheesy letterhead and dated June 23rd, 2009 a "document". Hahahahaha! Give me about 10 minutes with my publishing software and I'll send you another "document" refuting all this b.s.

64. Some of these songs are known already by Adam fans to be written or co-written by Adam. We have them on our Ipods already! Kiss and Tell was on his MySpace, and Pop Goes the Camera, Crawl Through the Fire. Adam did make a demo with these songs and obviously didn't get signed by these guys. These songs have been out on YOUTUBE for since Adam made like top50. This record co is just trying to cash in on Adam because he is hot right now. Too bad they couldn't have taken a leap of faith with him 5 years earlier.

69. Awwww!!!!! You mean the sweet, camera whoring human buttplug that was "robbed" from winning Idol is really nothing more than a lying, failed musician who was stuck as the 3rd string back up in LA's run of Wicked? LOL, it was just a matter of time before this fraud's true colors came out. He's a musical failure, time and time again. So glad Kris won!!!! Another posterboy gay exposed as an a$$hole!!!! Who da thunk!??!?!

71. What does this prove? I could have typed this up? This is not a legal document? I don’t see Adam’s signature anywhere?

72. An admitted druggie. An admitted alcoholic. Admits stranger bar hookups when drunk. Promises his pathetic ladies that someday if he is drunk enough he might "stick it" in a woman. They live with that hope. LOL. And now he is proven to be a fraud and a liar.. What an idol...NOT.

73. I don't understand why this has to be such an issue. It is competely obvious that HiFi/Wilshire saw the attention that Adam has been getting and thought they could make a fast buck off from him. It doesn't matter one way or the other to me if Adam "co-wrote" the songs or not at this point. If HiFi/Wilshire thought that the songs were so great then they should have released them long ago. The timing of this release is ridiculous, I do not believe that HiFi/Wilshire is looking out for Adam's best interest and I find it insulting that they actually feel that they are doing Adam and his fans a favor by releasing this music at this time. . .I will support Adam by purchasing his RCA/!9 debut this fall.

74. Many of the "Idol" contestants have been trying to break into show business or have had record deals at some point before the competition. Adam is very talented, but needed his big break-which being on "Idol" gave him. I am surprised Sony is not blocking the sales and distribution of this album.
