196. Right, between Madonna and Michael, they were what helped to make MTV in the 80's. I am sure she feels grief over his passing, regardless of when she last saw him. If it wasn't him, it was her in the news and so on back then. To report she can't stop crying is feasible, she's remembering her youth as well at that time, and the time gone by I'll bet, and the many convoluted twists and turns both of their lives have taken since.

199. I can't stop crying either.....Madonna please keep safe, I grew up with your music and Michael's music. Just recently when i finally got to see you in a concert, because my dad wouldnt let me when i was younger, i couldn't stop crying at your show as i can't stop crying that Michael is no longer with us and i don't know if i am going to be able to stop. Michael and Madonna are my childhood years........Love you both.

203. In the 1980's both she and MJ were the music superstars of that decade! She being naturally and voraciously competetive did want to surpass him. Sadly, she didn't and never will lol, not in record sales anyway. Happily, she did surpass him in popularity and is also paid $2 for every album of hers that sells, he started to earn that back in the 80's, he was the only one then, he was the highest-paid musician. By '92 she cemented her 'highest-paid female' status til now! Really, had she sold anywhere close to what he sold in terms of albums, she'd be waay richer than her $600 or $800 mil... AND happily she remains very closely tied to normal life, reality, which i don't think he was quite able to as a result of his nearly non-existent childhood.
