Madonna 'Can't Stop Crying' Over Jackson

Madonna One pop icon remembers another. We've just heard from Madonna on Jackson's death:

"I can't stop crying over the sad news. I have always admired Michael Jackson. The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever!

My heart goes out to his three children and other members of his family. God bless."

- Madonna

49. "...one of the greats"??? Let me guess, she considers herself in that class?
Please, she is just a trashy mediocre singer. Michael Jackson IS the best. We will never witness another of his magnitude. Not in this lifetime at least. Perhaps a couple generations from now when Jackson's image has faded more...but I seriously doubt it. There was Elvis, Marilyn, and Michael. Period.

52. This is usually how it works: members of the press call up a celebrity's publicist, manager, or agent, asking for their client's reaction to Michael's death. The celebrity, through their publicist, manager, or agent, then issues a statement, which then gets printed all over gossip sites, newspapers, and magazines. Other times, celebrities are approached by the press while they're on their way to an event or simply walking down the street. The celebs don't suddenly come out of the woodwork making all these statements. They are usually asked.

57. i'm 48 yrs i grew up with micheal, when i heard the news tears came flooding, micheal was not only a musician he was a very, very, very, great artist. even elvis and all his glory, its no match for micheal's. there was a lot of love in mike's music, he song about reality. real life changing realities. every song he has done, and i do mean every song, you felt his love, his joy, his pain. sorry to say mike i'm glad your gone home now, they were determine to destroy you anyways. am glad that now they won't be able to go through with their nasty evil plans. you will live always for the good you done, and not what they wanted. you still died a hero to many, and your name will be remember for all good.
with all my love to you & your family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! much love.
GIVING THANKS WITH SISTA BANKS.

58. Where was this skank during Jackson's trials and negative publicity? I'm not listening to any of these morons, Martin Bashir, Barbara Walters, et all. None of them reported anything remotely positive about Jackson in the last 10 years. All for ratings right folks?

59. I don't care what every damn celebrity and every damn fan has to say. It's all redundant. All the same adjectives from every mouth. " The World will never be the same "....BS. The sooner everybody moves on the better. Don't wallow in the past.

60. @ #44 - I totally agree. With the exception of his family and the people closest to him, who gives a damn what every other freakin' celebrity thinks? It's the same thing over and over again only in different words.
