Nas -- Kelis Should Put a Cork in It

Nas KelisKelis secretly threw a Hail Mary in her bitter divorce war with Nas, but the judge had no sympathy.

Kelis, who is about to pop with her first kid, has been begging the judge to make Nas pay for pre-natal expenses and baby stuff. So far Nas hasn't paid squat.

A hearing is set for July 21. Kelis is asking for $3,500 for a baby nurse, 20,000 for strollers, cribs and stuff, etc. But here's the snag. Kelis may be in labor during the hearing. And she needs money badly. So her lawyer went to court asking to move the hearing date up.

Sadly for Kelis, the judge was on vacation and the substitute judge wouldn't mess with the court calendar.

So Kelis is poor and pregnant, Nas apparently couldn't care less ... and the wheel of justice grinds slowly.

46. @ jlove- You sound good and ignorant. Are you a racist or not? There are people of all different races going through the same situation. if you were to watch Maury, there are more caucasian than other race showing up on the show either trying to find their baby daddies or denying their children, is that the reason why they are labeled as trailor trash, or very nasty? Get it together sweety and watch what you say, it just may be you one day looking.

The bottom line is, if the child is Nas' he needs to take care of his resonsibility and make sure the child is taken care of before and after birth. Something I learned from watching people in similar situations, once the mother is happy and taken care of, the child will be happy and well taken care of. I just hope it all works out in the end, and everyone is happy; especially the child.

She needs to take her A$$ to walmart to buy her stroller!!! it does not cost that much to raise a child.... all these celebrities think they have to have all name brand stuff and here we have schools making cut backs and my kids are suffering because of it... No im not poor myself, but i'm not out there trying to spend $$$ on materialistic things... If she makes $20,000 a month that is plenty to raise a dozen kids....

There are ppl out there who dont have squat.... and she's going to complain... she shouldn't have opened her legs then i guess!!! it's cheaper to use birth control!!!!!!

Anyways, Nas is more then likely going to do his part in the baby's life, she don't need to take his money too. They both got money, she's just trying to be greedy!! When Nas takes the baby he'll give him what he needs, then the baby can go back with mom, who can give the baby what he need just as well. USE YOUR OWN MONEY KELIS!!!!

50. Ok Kelis this is the deal and you can take it from me cause I raised my son's alone. You and the baby will make it. Times may look bad and you may feel alone but don't give up. Remember you have life inside you and that life is depending on you to take care of it's every need. Please don't get upset because it will upset your baby. Let the court system take care of Nas. You focus on the joyous birth of your baby because you can make them daddy's but you can't make them father's.

As for Nas, now that you have been revealed to be the hot steaming pile of sh*# that you are. I will spend my prayer time asking God to give the judge the knowledge and forthought to make you give up to your child and wife the thing you love more than them. MONEY

55. Has TMZ ever heard of Infa Red?? That's the guy Kelis had a sex tape with back in 07. Guess who she was married to when she slept with Infa Red. She was married to Nas. 57. TMZ needs to leave this issue until they know the facts. We don't know how much Nas has given her. Just going by Kelis word does not qualify. She already showed off all her jewelry so if she really wanted to could sell some if she is sooo broke. I don't blame him for waiting until a court decision to pay up. He's being quiet so far does not mean he's neglecting his future kid. He already wrote a nice Father's day piece about being there for your kids and shouted out his baby on the way so know he will take care of the baby when born.

60. Women have always been trying to take advantage of Nasir, ruin his name and reputation. What ever happened to independant women? My mother raised two boys and mortgaged a house all by herself. Remind you that she came from another country and learned English in America.
American women are spoiled and lazy.
If 20,000 a month isn't enough for anyone to survive with, you're just greedy. No man should deal with a woman like that!
