Ryan O'Neal Shuts Down Farrah Fawcett's Website

Farah FawcettWe just got our hands on a letter Ryan O'Neal's lawyer fired off to the guy who ran a Farrah Fawcett website, demanding that he stop pretending it's her official site and then asking for money.

Greg Lott -- who claims to have been Farrah's high school sweetheart -- has been writing brutal posts about Ryan, claiming he's been running around with other women while Farrah was sick and making all sorts of drug allegations.

Ryan's high-powered law firm just sent Lott a cease and desist letter, demanding that he shut down the site, stop soliciting money, stop making defamatory comments about Ryan, stop splashing images of Farrah around town and stop selling Farrah-related merchandise.

Lott took his site down after receiving the letter, which was dated June 23.

20. He is not marrying her for money. He has been asking her throughout their relationship, to the point where it was a joke even, she just always said no - they were happy as they were. I have also read that she said no - not yet - before we die though, and now, it is time. they love each other. damnit why do people put stupid thoughts out about people who have hurt no one???

22. Regardless of others actions, Farrah has conducted herself with utmost dignity and grace. That is her way even in illness. A very elegant lady who will be so greatly missed. She literally has millions of fans around the globe. A true international household name and friend to many.

23. I have seen his website often and I believe what he has been saying. I also believe that Ryan O'Neil is rotten human being and a terrible father. He got his son Redmond hooked on Meth and he frolicks around with other women while Farrah is at home dying. I also believe that Ryan and Alana are sleeping together in the guest bedroom. Please don't watch 20/20 on Friday with Barbara Walters and Ryan, how distasteful.

24. You "persons" need to get lives of your own. Lots of nice persons died today, and yesterday, and tomorrow. Many contributed vastly more to their families and communities than a mediocre actress milking fame from a 30-year-old TV series best remembered for its lameness.

26. I don't have a clue what Ryan O'Neil is all about, but Farrah loves him, so he must have some good qualities about him. She is a very classy lady, one who I have idolized for many years. I never had the pleasure of meeting her, but I know I will see her in Heaven. God be with you Farrah, you will truly be an Angel soon....

27. I don't trust Ryan O'Neal AT ALL! I believe he screwed over the guy who was producing the documentary on Farrah, just to take all of the credit and the money from the deal with NBC! Poor Farrah :(

30. How interesting that Ryan will now marry Farrah as she dies. Some marriage. In California, it is called "inheritance"! Any money made on the book she wrote of this ordeal will go to Ryan. He needed to marry her months/years ago, if his love was so deep. Maybe it's her pockets of money that are deep, not his love. How sad and what a commentary on Ryan and son. Peace to Farrah, truth from Ryan.
