Ryan O'Neal Shuts Down Farrah Fawcett's Website

Farah FawcettWe just got our hands on a letter Ryan O'Neal's lawyer fired off to the guy who ran a Farrah Fawcett website, demanding that he stop pretending it's her official site and then asking for money.

Greg Lott -- who claims to have been Farrah's high school sweetheart -- has been writing brutal posts about Ryan, claiming he's been running around with other women while Farrah was sick and making all sorts of drug allegations.

Ryan's high-powered law firm just sent Lott a cease and desist letter, demanding that he shut down the site, stop soliciting money, stop making defamatory comments about Ryan, stop splashing images of Farrah around town and stop selling Farrah-related merchandise.

Lott took his site down after receiving the letter, which was dated June 23.

46. Farrah represents 70's icon's at it's finest, a place in time and no one will ever forget her. I hope her son Redmond pulls it together when he gets out of jail and actually makes something of himself. He really needs to move out of Malibu (the golden ghetto) and go to school or join the military because his father doesn't know how to show him the right path. Best of luck and my prayers are with Farrah.

48. Poor Farrah, hopefully the end is soon so she won't suffer anymore. As for the scum bag with the website there is always someone ready to cash in on someone who is suffering! As for Ryan, my first thought when I heard that she wanted to remarry him, per Barbara WaWa, was that it was for the money. I am sure she has a will. They have been in love all these years so who knows, just said her kid is a druggie and always in trouble as well as Ryan.

Farrrah I have been watching you since we were kids and our favorite show was the Charlie`s Angels , we tried to keep up with you during your difficult times and all of our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family and loved ones ,we also have been fighting Cancer and HIV for tweenty years now and you are an inspiration to us , our families and loved ones.

Read this article from 1997 in Texas Monthly Magazine. Greg Lott is a former college athlete and a long time friend of Farrah's. He is a credible guy who always had her best interest at heart. Tragic story all around.
