Jackson's Death -- Demerol OD?

Micheal Jackson DemerolThere are reports ... Michael Jackson may have died after getting a Demerol injection.

The Sun is reporting shortly after the injection, Jackson's breathing got "slower and slower until it stopped."

We cannot confirm this story. We can say, however, that after Jackson was badly burned during the filming of a Pepsi commercial, he became addicted to painkillers and ended up at the Betty Ford Clinic. As for the painkillers, there are reports he was given Demerol.

In addition, during the child molestation trial, cops seized syringes and drugs, including Demerol.

31. I think it is terrible that everytime a celebrity dies there has to be some form of drama behind it. I am ashamed of us as people that we cannot let the man be in oeace now. His life was always under scrutiny in life. My sypathies to the family. And to his children. RIP Michael. Some of us did just ejoy you as the performer and humanitarian that you were.

33. Michael was the best of all time. He will be remembered forever . I don't care what people said about him...he was great and he will always be great. May he rest in peace, Stop spreading bad rumors about him. He's gone...at least give him a little respect during his passing.

34. Even IF MJ was a drug addict, it's an illness, he needed help. What he didn't need was a bunch of 'yes' people surrounding him, supplying him drugs until they stopped his heart.

I ALWAYS got a funny feeling about his "doctor". Something just wasn't right with him. I hope the police become involved and some of these quacks start losing their licenses and start serving jail time. Enough. We've lost way too many talented artists and it was completely preventable.

35. Hey TMZ, could you slow down a little bit on the MJ coverage. Good music and great dance moves do not overshadow child molestation. How about an interview with the families of the little boys he robbed of their innocence? Wonder how they feel today. He was a sick man and should be remembered NOT glorified!!!!

36. Doesnt anyone else find it weird that La Toya and Micheal look a little too similar? (They have the exact same plastic surgery, including the same mistakes) They also share the same facial structure.

I've never seen the two in the same room before .....

Think about it .....

37. Forty eight hours ago this man was viewed by most as a freak and a joke. TMZ themselves had a field day dissing this guy every chance they got. Now that he's dead, he's apparently attained saint statue in a blink of an eye. Phony, hypocritical nonsense.

38. It cracks me up when the media says he died of "cardiac arrest." EVERYONE dies of cardiac arrest. That means when your heart stops, and that is what happens to everyone who dies. I don't think htere is a doubt that some drugs were involved.

Someone in 'fine health" doesn't ahve their personal physician hanging with tehm.

I am just blown away that they spent so much time trying to revive him. If one of us regualr people came into the ER in that condition, they might try for about 10 minutes , max. But then, we all know celebritites are more importantt than the rest of us.

39. Such a sad ending for such a fabulous entertainer. Now that he is gone, can the press show the respect to his family that Michael always deserved and you never gave him. lets remember the quote "innocent until proven guilty" which Michael never was proven. The paparazzi added to his misery as they did with Princess Diana. LEAVE HIM ALONE. Shame on you all ..

40. I liked "Thriller" when it came out I played it over and over but I'm tired of hearing about his "Genuis" from hollywood types . He was a pedophile who left this country so people would forget so who really cares about the fact that he could sing and dance .... I for one have been changing the channel on Michael Jackson songs for a long time .....

41. With all the slobbering over Michael's demise, everyone should realize that his alleged "creative genius" was often borrowed from earlier, less successful personalities. Look at and listen to Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers and you'll see much of the same stage presence, mannerisms and vocal patterns. Even the "gloved" look originated with another. Gene Vincent toured England in the late 1950s and early 1960s using a stage prop that Jackson copied: Vincent wore a leather glove on one hand that can clearly be seen in several video clips available on YouTube.

43. I agree with a couple of the bloggers, like waiting till the coroner report comes out, and just like the rumor about elvis being around I guess he'll be around also. The drug Od???? doesen't surprise me. I would hold whatever medical doctor liable for if it turns out that it was an OD for his death.

44. Oh no Two Cents, they won't do that. Instead they will make a law which limits access to pain meds for people who need them. I mean, when malpractice suits became a problem what did they do? Tighten enforcement of medical practices? No, they limited the amount a person injured by malpractice may recover in a lawsuit. The medical community is protected to a fault.

45. To # 14 . You too will die one day and because you are such a nasty person I can only pray that God has mercy on your disgusting soul.

RIP Michael . Loved and admired by billions around the world.
