Hmm... is that not only when parental rights are involuntarily terminated, or otherwise, by court action?

This cessation of parental rights was voluntary.

However, is she receiving an allowance as part of her deal...and is it being called "child support?" That could raise issues.

65. Excuse me I think Debbie Rowe would be better then living with Joseph Jackson. Katherine let Joseph beat all the Jackson children and she is no better. This is crazy the woman gave birth to those children she is their Mother. I love Michael Jackson and I listened to him he was abused what part of that says that Joe and Katherine Jackson should parent those children.

I feel that if the kids have never interacted with Debbie then it is only fair that the kids stay with the only family they know, the Jacksons... as it is already overwhelming the great loss of their father I think it would be devasting for the children to move in with a complete stranger. The best thing for them is to stay with the grandparents.

That's exactly why I thought they should go with Debbie initially. I dunno, maybe give them to a distant reletive who isn't enmeshed in all this hullabaloo. Let them live normally. Out in the sun. On swingsets and in swimming pools in Iowa. It's probably the best thing the court could do for the kids. Just send them on a lifelong vacation from the whirlpool of mentally disturbed adults.

73. For kids' sake take them as far away from Jackson family as possible. Detrimental, damaging. It will take a life time of therapy to be normal again. Debbie needs to take care of the kids. Money doesn't matter, values do.

As long as Debbie can provide a good life for them, think they should be with Mom.

75. Any father as protective as Michael has made arrangements for them in advance. Also, his kids are old enough to pick as usually kids know who they feel safest with. All the kids must stay together regardless of how they became Michael's children. The important thing is that the nanny stay with them forever and always as she has mothered them since they were born. Taking her away would be cruel.
