I think Death is being exceptionally greedy this week. Ed McMahon-sad, but no surprise. Farrah Fawcett, expected, and just as sad. But Michael Jackson? WTF? I never considered myself a fan, could not stand his music in the '80's, (his music is so not in my "iTunes"/iPod collection!), but still, this is one of those very unpleasant, very unexpected moments when anyone who ever heard of Michael Jackson has to take stock of the OVERWHELMING IMPACT he had on entertainment. This should NOT have happened as it did, not when it did. Death needs to lay off the celebrities for awhile. 3 in one week is more then enough!

To all of you that keep saying MJ was accused but found not guilty, look at OJ Simpson. Our legal system is incredibly flawed when it comes to the rich and famous....it's doesn't work the way it does for regular people bc nimrods like you end up sitting in the jury box.

It's a very sad story that shows the disadvantages of being a star. I think he was a very lonely person. Poor Michael Jackson. But his songs are great!

I do give him kudos that yes he was an unbelievable entertainer, and regardless of what anyone says about his personal life he DID shape the music and entertainment industry forever.

But so did elvis presley , and now MJ wants to go out the same way. It is MJ's time to be left alone, and that is why I believe this is a FAKE death.

"well why did he start all the promotional tour stuff, etc etc ?" ... what better way to stage your own death than to make people believe that you did not intend it. all the tour stuff, ambulance, etc. was just normal hollywood stuff. He definately could afford to do it.

Not to say that MJ is anything like the devil, but to put it into perspective ... "The greatest trick the devil ever played was to make people believe he didn't exist."

Wow. That was crazy. I saw a Hollywood tv vid yesterday that showed the Star Line bus going by while all this was happening, very surreal to watch. RIP MJ

This is a sad sad story despite all the allegations this poor human being suffered in so many ways. To be this unhappy in your own soul to not be able to see the true"MAN IN THE MIRROR" is tragic that a man so loved could not find the love and security he needed through his family and friends. Where were all of you when someone so dear to you was suffering so much. Let this poor soul RIP as he was poor in so many ways!
