Jackson's Kids: 'We Want to Stay with Grandma'

Sources close to the Jackson family tell us Michael Jackson's three children -- Michael Joseph, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine and Prince "Blanket" Michael II -- say they want to stay with their grandparents, specifically Katherine.

Sources say MJ's kids will continue to live with Katherine Jackson at the family's Encino home. We're told the family is 100 percent behind this -- feeling that Katherine and Joe Jackson are the only people who can help the children understand who their father was, help them grieve, and teach them to deal with life in the spotlight.

We're also told the kids are healthy but, as expected, they "miss their daddy." They have no relationship with Debbie Rowe, who is the biological mother of Michael and Paris.

All of this will be critical to the case if, as expected, Rowe fights for custody.

16. iNTERSTING ENOUGH... Lisa Marie was about the same age as these kids when Elvis died. She is one of few people who know how difficult their lives will be. Elvis died before MTV, the 24 News Cycle, and the Internet, yet Lisa Marie was still hounded at time when hounding really only took place in the big celebrity cities. Now they are hounded everywhere...

17. Come on. The family coached the kids to say this. Bad parents rarely make good grandparents.
The kids should go to their mother if she wants them.

BOTTOM LINE IS THOSE KIDS NEED TO BE IN THE CARE OF THEIR GRANDMOTHER AND THE JACKSON FAMILY...I SEE NO PPOINT IN GIVE THE MOTHER CUSTODY OVER HER KIDS IF SHE HASNT BEEN IN THEIR LIVES ITS CLEAR THAT SHE DOESNT WANT TO BE EITHER...OBVIOUSLY SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN THEIR FOR THEM FROM THE BEGINNING SO SHE CAN KICK ROCKS !!!!!!

19. That’s a great idea, Katherine and Joe did such a good job raising Michael and his siblings. They all turned out normal. Beatings and fear is the best way to raise kids. NOT!
They might have a chance of somewhat normal life if they are raised by someone outside that family.

20. NO to Joe! He's had his chance and he blew it. He could easily 'decide' to make a new trio of singers/entertainers. I hope Michael left a perfectly clear will. I am sure ~ no doubts about it ~ Michael would never ever want his kids brought up by them.

22. Joe and Katherine raised that freak show that was Michael Jackson.They should never get those kids.They are too old and terrible parents.None of us know what happened between MJ and Debbie Rowe.His money and lawyers !Not a fair fight.

23. If this is true, the kids have voiced their opinions and should be granted their request since they are old enought to make a qualified decision like this. Another alternative that many haven't commented on is Rebbie, the "normal" sister who is not in the spotlight.

I'D LIKE TO ADD THAT ALL OF US ARE MERELY SPECULATING SINCE FEW, IF ANY, OF US ACTUALLY ARE CLOSE TO THE FAMILY. THESE WILD CASTRATION ACUSATIONS AND SIMILAR THEORIES ARE COMICAL, BUT TRULY A SAD REFLECTION OF THE TIMES WE LIVE IN. PEOPLE WILL REPEAT RUMORS AS IF THEY ARE FACT.

24. If the mother has any respect for this children (it's clear she has no love since she sold them at birth) she will let the kids stay with grandma. They are old enough to know their mother never cared for them.

26. These kids barely know the grandparents as MJ kept his distance from them.

ANyone can lean on young kids in crisis and get them to say something.
If Debbie fights for her own two kids she should raise them.
