16. Given that both John Lennon and Michael Jackson were drivers for peace, they would not wish to see their fans going "to war" with each other over this, I feel sure.

18. I agree that MJ fans shouldn't be using the Lennon memorial. But to those people saying that Lennon was not equal to Michael is crap to me. They both did that same thing for music as did Elvis....they changed it forever! They all did things that were life changing and shocking to the people at the time. All three of them will always be remembered as ledges of music for their times. However they all also bring together generations through their music.

19. Doesn't MJ own the publishing rights to this song and most of the other Beatles songs?
I really don't understand why people freak out when celebrities die. Unless you personally know them there is no need to go overboard with the grief. The crazies will come out soon saying they saw him in a bowling ally in Idaho just like when Elvis died.

20. Lets get real everyone. You ca not even compare the deaths of Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett with Michael Jackson.
Mr Mcmahon and Ms. Fawcett fought valiantly to stay alive, while Mr Jackson threw away his life .He didn't care enough about his children to fight for his life and that is a shame.

21. Nobody should put anything at the Lennon Memorial unless it is for him. John Lennon was TAKEN FROM US and Michael Jackson LEFT US.

23. #21 and #22 he left us...? didnt care about his own kids to fight for his own life,,,? Am I the only one who remembers this guy got burned filming something for pepsi, he had burns in his throat and lungs, do you even realize what scaring in your lungs feels like? no he was not a 'normal'person but who would be with the way he grew up.
as for putting things on the Imagine circle for Michael Jackson, I can see where in his life he brought a lot of people together, and now in his death hes brought them together again, Same as John Lennon

24. Someone should add a picture of Sky Saxon to this memorial. He was more like John than either of the other two!

25. This is for the lady who wrote her son's message on the board - I'm going to go print it out and leave it at Jackson's star in Hollywood for you...God bless. Tell your son that it's going to be there...

26. i'm sure lennon wouldn't have a problem with sharing his memorial with the most influential man in entertainment and the most beautiful woman to ever live

27. Using the Imagine Circle for a child molester and one who used underhanded means to "steal" the Beatles catalog makes me sick. I certainly hope the stories I hear are true that he willed the catalog back to Paul. That he finally realized what he did was wrong and they belong to Paul.
That being said, poor Farrah. She had the bad luck to pass away on the same day and she's been pushed to the bottom of the news heap. She put up such a brave, courageous fight. As a cancer survivor myself I felt what she went through. Rest in peace now, Farrah, you earned it.

29. One huge difference between Lennon, Farrah, and Michael; Lennon was murdered, hint the peace sign.

30. I agree that is John Lennon's site and Yoko had to fight to get it. Wow! I can't believe how two-faced the media was about Jackson, he moved away from the US of A because of all the scrutiny, only to move back recently. They mocked him at every turn made fun of his quirks and called him a pervert. I guess it is true what they say, dying is a great career move. Farrah was no suprise, she broadcasted it. But as I stated can't they find another site to do this at. What every time someone faces dies they are going to put the person's picture on John's memorial. Sickening. Sorry they don't compare, John Lennon helped wake up the world. Leave his place alone, I doubt he would have hung out with the likes of Farrah Fawcett, Jackson maybe to do a song with, but he wouldn't have hung with that guy either. When Paul and Ringo die, maybe you could slip a few mementos on there. If then. I doubt people are really even sad Michael Jackson is dead. He hasn't made an album in a long time, and has been more or less a recluse. They probably don't do half this stuff for their own family. If they are crying about Michael Jackson, well they are letting tears out because of some other reason, I really doubt they are heart-broken, tear laden with grief over MJ. Lennon I oculd see it. I could go on but I'm either preaching to the choir or UPSETTING someone in their time of grief over F.F. and M.J. Just get your mementos off John's. Call em as I see em. I have to go blow my nose MMMMMichael died and FFFFaaarrrahhh sob, sob. also. they are so important in my life.
