Billy Mays Was Set to be Taco Bell's Pitchman

billy mays taco bellBilly Mays was about to film a bunch of commercials for Taco Bell -- this according to a radio host who talked to the pitchman a few hours before he died.

Todd "MJ" Schnitt from 93.3 WFLZ in Tampa was interviewing Billy's "Pitchmen" co-star Anthony Sullivan this afternoon, when Todd eerily admitted to speaking with Billy on the phone late last night.

During the call, Todd said Billy had just signed a deal with Taco Bell for a series of infomercial-style adverts that were going to be filmed in August.

Todd also said Billy told him he "hit his head on the overhead luggage compartment" when the US Airways airplane blew its front tires while landing in Tampa yesterday.

108. Seems to me that all the people talking crap about MJ are from the BTLS show. They must be worried about MJ because it sounds like they listen to MJ's show more than his own listeners. They know everything about MJ's show. can you say JEALOUSY!! Yes the MJ show sucks but the Bubba show SWALLOWS! HOWARD ROCKS!!!!

110. I just cannot believe some of the comments from people. You worthless pieces of s___. Whether you like Billy Mays or not
it is a tragic loss. And for the ones who said they couldn't stand him on TV, you can always change the channel. Nobody forces you to watch anything. And don't comment on something you don't know. He was not scamming people with his products. They were not his products, he was just promoting them and yes I have bought a few items from infomercials, some work, some don't. So what, it is like that even if you buy a major product in a store.
My heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends. It is a tragic loss at a young age and anyone who does not feel sympathy for his family and friends, you are not worth s___. The garbage that you are you always will be.

111. I can't believe the negativity expressed by some of these comments. I don't give a hoot whether you liked his style or his job that he performed. The fact that the man died and has left his family with a great deal of grief should be enough to put your small minded comments away. I too used to poke fun at his delivery style, yet I never wished him any harm. God hold you safe in his hands Billy and may he provide your family with the strength to continue. Those comments are part of the reason this country is in the mess that we are in,

112. I'm surprised nobody killed him.

Now if the Sham Wow wanker, the Progressive Insurance bimbo, that whinning Video Professor "Please buy my product", all lame hard-on medications, and that stupid frggin' gecko could dissapear!

It is insulting to your intelligence people.

Boycott all products with stupid redundant commercials.
