Billy Mays was found dead in his home early this morning.
In February I flew an overnight DELTA AIRLINE flight from Hawaii to Atlanta. TWICE during the flight two different overhead bin doors opened due to turbulency. When we docked, this elderly woman tried to get her HEAVY roll-on luggage out of a bin that was above the head of the young lady that was sitting in front of her and dropped it square on her head. It sounded like she cracked her skull. It made me sick. The poor thing was visibly in extreme pain and crying. I kept telling her that she should let the attendant know before she leaves the plane, and that she should immediately go to the medical there and make a report. I knew she wasn't going to do it though. Our plane was over 2 hours late, her military husband had been waiting at the airport the entire time, and he had to report for duty as soon as he picked her up. I really hope that she was OK. They shouldn't allow those bags with rollers in the overhead bins, and they should install locking pins in them so they don't open during flight. There is no telling what flew out of a bin and into Mays head and at what force.
