I was offended that Jamie Foxx stated that Michael "belongs to us" and that "we shared him" with the rest of the world. Jamie (with the last name of Foxx) has no power to share anybody but himself with the world, let alone a man with the last name of Jackson. Honestly, I hope Jamie shares less of himself in the years to come.

The BET awards show was a hot mess. How dare they throw something together real quick and claim that it's a tribute to the late MJ. Everyone should just stay tuned for the Grammy's or the American Music Awards to do a tribute that Michael truly deserves as oppose to the crap BET so called did. God bless Janet for making an appearance and showing their grattitude but it's too bad she couldn't really say how disrespectful the whole show was. I was quickly reminded of why I've never watched the BET awards in the past. With the exception of New Edtion, Ciara and Ne-yo tribute, everything else was just crap. Not to mention, who didn't guess that Beyonce' was also going to participate in the tribute but naturally, she also had to throw herself into the mixture as well by wearing that tired mess. Couldn't she have just this once let the night be about Michael? Ciara let it be about MJ why couldn't B? We all know why........................all eyes still have to be on her. By the way Jamie really didn't have to sing at the end.can you say AWFUL!!!!

The reason why BET didn't wait to do a tribute is because they knew that they were the only ones with a live show going this past weekend and they would get the highest ratings ever since their awards began. Not to mention CNN, Headline News, and the Fox News all were informing their viewers to tune in to BET as they pay a tribute to MJ. BET wanted to be 1st which they were, but they will surely be last when a real show honors MJ and actual friends and loved ones of Michael (Dionne W. and Diana W. and John Landis and Paul M. just to name a few) pay tribute to him and not those wannabe's that wished and hope to have worked with Jackson such as the duds that were on BET.

I think it is totally racist what Jamie Fox said! Why are only caucasian people called racist? I think it's time to stop playing the race card! If your outraged by slave owners take it up with the people who owned them! Stop accusing people who live today for what never happened to you! It was a very dark period in American history but for all the out cry over what happened 200 years ago, OPRAH has been the one shinning star in the black community! Put your money where your loud mouth is and make the world a better place! PS there is still slavery in America it's called SEX SLAVES and it can happen to any RACE!!!!

Yes he has made derogatory comments about M.J. in the past. Very embarassing stuff. Let's hope someone is able to find old video recordings of it and posts it on youtube. It will make him look like an even bigger jerk than he already does.

Jamie Foxx is a complete jackass. So many black celebrities mocked Michael Jackson because of his plastic surgery and other changes. His comments about Michael being a black man and 'belonging to us' are exactly what Michael Jackson was trying to avoid. Michael's greatest gift to music was his ability to make it universal and not to care if his audience was black, white, yellow or whatever. A lot of these celebrities are hypocrites, standing up for Michael now that he's gone but skewering him when he was alive. It's disgusting.

Jaime Fox's comment was racist. Imagine if Madonna died and at a ceremony for her, Cher gets on stage and says 'Madonna was white and she belonged to us, we just lent her to the world" Im sure that would go over real well in thew press. If Cher said something like that, it would also be dumb and ignorant as was Fox's comment. Just a side note, I guess Jaime Fox didn't get the memo, for a guy who "belonged" to "them" black people, it's nice to see that Michael has 3 WHITE children....LOL...He could have chosen any color child and chose not 1, not 2, but 3 white children.
